Ladies and Gentlemen, I am officially Mrs W! My day yesterday went without a hitch (Apart from the one we wanted ;-)). It was worth the headaches and attention to detail. I loved the day, my family, friends and most of all, my husband! I wish you all the best for your big days and many years of happiness to come xoxox

ee good luck other august brides! it's eventually feeling real now that it's 4 days away!!! Had a last-minute nerrr on saturday and now have a different dress and shoes
Feeling a lot less stressed once I realised I can give some of the stuff on the to-do list to my fiance.. was trying to do it all myself which was doing my head in.. still being a control freak a bit though as he has very very precise instructions about how to do the "to-dos" :rofl:

Ten days to go for me! and I to feel that my list is getting longer rather than shorter!

Had a few nightmares with alterations that had been made to BM dresses (awful!) so getting those fixed, also need alterations on my dress - to make bigger not smaller!!! Groan..I think I've been sampling to much wine and alcohol for the big day ha ha.

Has anyone else experienced really poor aftercare service from there bridal shop? I feel like they took my money and werent intereseted after that. I've had no phone calls for a final dress fitting, nor if I need any alterations - which prompted a phone call from me to them, of which they said "oh we do have a seamstress but shes on holiday until 17th Aug, just ring her then and it will be fine!" I nearly had a mini melt down and was quite disappointed, as they didnt care that I couldnt actually sit down in my dress!

Note to brides! Make sure you can sit down in it... Bridal shops should be doing the sit down test surely?!...

Luckily I've got a fantastic seamstress who is doing my alterations and is turning it around very quickly..phew!

Really nervous about having all eyes on us for the day..starting to feel a bit sick with my nerves.

Any tips to keep it calm?

It's nearly my turn! Wedding's on Friday but I'll be setting off tomorrow morning (and hopefully unless we've left something behind) not coming back til afterwards. Car's all packed but I still haven't packed a single thing in my case for getting ready/Thursday night/Friday morning/Saturday!
Weather is stressing me out too - it's currently saying rain very early then ok but I'm not counting my chickens!

Ah well, as I've been trying to remind myself, as long as we're married at the end of it it'll be a success!

Hi everyone! I have to say I'm really quite sad that this thread is all over!

I am going to share some pictures with you from my wedding day, hoping it may also encourage others to do the same? (As soon as I can figure out how to do it! lol ) Met some lovely people along the way on this thread.

I hope everyones wedding was everything you all dreamt of, and it all went according to plan!

Not quite sure what to do with myself now that the wedding is over, all my deccies and wedding bits are in my spare room and can't even think about moving them on yet he he.

I can't believe it's all over either. It's amazing how quickly your wedding comes round and goes!

I had the most amazing day, plenty of surprises organised by my wonderful family and just a fantastic experience.

I'd be happy to share some pictures if everyone else is!

On the subject of pictures, has everyone had their professional ones back yet? Still waiting on mine, can't wait to see them!
