I really expected my dress search to be a long and tearful process, but I am amazed to say that I went out on saturday morning with an imaginary dress pictured in my head, and managed to find a lovely lady in a bridal shop who can make it happen. By saturday lunchtime I was in the pub having a well deserved drink haha x

You have been on top of things and doing really well in such a short space of time, thats great. Am still in the process of designing my invitations, hoping to start sending it out by first week of next month.

Are you having bridesmaids and flower girls?

Wow ska lover, you have been busy! Congrats on finding your dress! I really need to motivate myself to send out my invitations. We are four over on the guest list and can't decide whether to risk it on the assumption that some people won't be able to come... We are having it at a village hall with independent caterers doing a sit down buffet, so I guess we could squeeze them in somehow if we needed to!

  • I have finally finished making and writing on my invites. All the daytime ones went out last weekend and most evening ones have been hand delivered today, although I have another 20 to post tomorrow!

I never thought I would be saying this, but I want a veil as well - one of those smaller elbow length ones, that just grip to the back of your head.

This wedding is really bringing out my girlie side. Normally im such a tom boy
