    Hi August brides, where is everyone? It's our month! 10 days to go for me *argh* Still got 40 metres of bunting to make and half the table decorations to do amongst other things! How are you all getting on?

    This is a very quiet board compared to most months!

    Still three weeks for us. We seem to have loads to do and no time - if only we could have this month off work to get ready! Even little things seem to take ages e.g. table names. All the big things are sorted but always adding things to the to-do list quicker than they are being ticked off it!

    Ten days to go today for me - not yet quite ready to relax and enjoy it! Good luck to you all and congratulations to those of you already moving to a newly wed status!
    Note to self - not a good idea to book a holiday away the week before the wedding even if it seemed so at the time and would give us the opportunity to relax (ha, ha). Logistics of taking a wedding to the holiday cottage and then onto the venue = nightmare!

    I'm very lucky in that I finished work yesterday so I have 9 days off before (though I do have another wedding to travel to this weekend so that's 3 days gone!) but I still worry it's not going to all get done. My to do list is looking emptyish but I worry that's because I've forgotten lots of things!

    can't believe this was me one year ago..!!

    Good luck to all august brides, one piece of advice i can give, every now and again try sneak away with you hubby for 5 mins to breathe and talk to each other! this advice was given to me and it really does mean alot!

    It's so exciting! 16 sleeps to go to mine. So excited, final dress fitting on Tuesday. Have had some aggro from the future in-laws which has soured things slightly but apart from that small detail I am so excited! :D

    Does anybody else feel like their head is going to explode??
    I keep remembering little things that I need to do, my list seems to be getting longer and longer and the day closer and closer! :eek:
