Just a quick post from me to send ((hugs)) to taplady and friend and family, such a tragedy.

Bohemian - are you in NI? I'd never heard of fifteens before I moved here lol

Ha! No. Someone with a NI background not generally known for baking brought them into work last month and they were much admired. I grabbed a recipe off the Internet. Genuinely the easiest thing ever to make; I think a five year old could do it with a little help (you could probably halve glace cherries with scissors as well as marshmallows). Or at least, would've been if I hadn't had to boil down the milk. And utterly delicious in a slightly childish way.
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.

Woofer was stressed last night , idiots across the road were letting fireworks off till about half one this morning. Not blooming happy with them at all. Its not even like there were any little kids there , they are all 18 and older. The parents couldnt have been there . Dont think any of the neighbours were very happy.

Saw the neighbours earlier on and mentioned the fireworks, they had been away for the weekend .They said that they knew that their 2 were having some friends over but had no idea that fireworks were involved and were furious to say the least. They couldn't have been more apologetic. Well that was good enough for me , but about 15 mins later I heard a knock at my door and when I opened it I found 2 rather sheepish looking lads with a bunch of flowers and an apology for me, along with a tin of sweets for the kids and a bag of dog treats for woofer. Felt so guilty for dobbing on them when they were only having fun, but woofer was scared stiff.I really should have plugged the DAP in by now. Will do it whilst I remember:o
Don't feel guilty. They did wrong, and got caught out. An important life lesson for them imho. Their "fun" caused others distress.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
