So sorry Taplady, that's terrible for all. Your pic of Louie is a classic!

Well, apart from a couple of 'bits' my christmas shopping is done! Got paid from second job on Friday so decided it had to be spent on pressies straight away or I would waste it! It's a good feeling and it's not even November. Just need DD and DS2 to let me know what they want as their main pressies (DS1 doesn't get anything as I bought him and GF tickets for oz last year). It's DS2s birthday on christmas eve so he may get a double pressie if he wants something a little more.

Not much else happened, it's lashing down here but wasn't too bad all day. DD 'fed up' with proper dinners so she had a chicken kiev and curly fries for tea, just what she needed after a long day at work.

Phoning the dentist tomorrow as I have terrible toothache in a tooth that is crowned and has had root treatment! Hope everyone has a good week ahead. Take care. XX

Woofer was stressed last night , idiots across the road were letting fireworks off till about half one this morning. Not blooming happy with them at all. Its not even like there were any little kids there , they are all 18 and older. The parents couldnt have been there . Dont think any of the neighbours were very happy.

Saw the neighbours earlier on and mentioned the fireworks, they had been away for the weekend .They said that they knew that their 2 were having some friends over but had no idea that fireworks were involved and were furious to say the least. They couldn't have been more apologetic. Well that was good enough for me , but about 15 mins later I heard a knock at my door and when I opened it I found 2 rather sheepish looking lads with a bunch of flowers and an apology for me, along with a tin of sweets for the kids and a bag of dog treats for woofer. Felt so guilty for dobbing on them when they were only having fun, but woofer was scared stiff.I really should have plugged the DAP in by now. Will do it whilst I remember:o

Tappers so so sad, thoughts are with you all at this sad time for you

Bee , Andrew is doing fine, well as fine as he can be. His mum is still with the brute but has recently had some mail sent here and I now have a big box under my bed with some stuff belonging to her in so I think the seperation could well be on its way, I gave her a spare door key for my door the other day when I saw her and she has put it in a secret accecible place. Crown court is beginning of Dec. His dad has forbidden his mum to have contact still, stupid man doesnt realise she has been seeing him all along.I was at the drs the other day , ds3 was with me and he walked in. Ds just stiffened up and was all tense like he was ready to take him out, especially when he sat opposite and tried making eye contact.

    Hello all,

Got very little value from extra hour, DGS2 was here for the night and woke up from a nightmare at some ungodly hour, so he came into our bed but neither he nor I could get back to sleep....went downstairs with him at 7.30, gave him breakfast and left him to the kind offices of the dogs, but just dozed when I got back to bed, so have been tired all day.....first time he has ever wakened me and he was so upset, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.

Cool but dry here to-day, but has started to rain in last hour or so, not much but we are to allegedly have more floods during the week....lovely.

DS2 is here for weekend, bank holiday to-morrow so he has taken a day's leave and goes back to London tomorrow evening, left him to town earlier to meet some friends for a few drinks....so he will not surface too early in the morning I reckon.

Ruby....should you not see doctor if you have a chest infection?

    Sistercas, hope back improves soon.

Taplady....very sad to hear of somebody so young dying.

Will have to start taking notes as can't remember what anyone else is up to....except for Hester and Beth running round like blue*s*d flies!

Hugs for all who need one or more, sleep well and stay safe
