Hello everyone. I was wondering if this would be a good place to say that I forgot to order the condensed milk for the fifteens my kids are going to make this afternoon...
...so have boiled down regular milk (we actually had 4l more than we'll use this week) and added sugar. Which is a pain but it's just perfect now and ready to go.Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.0 -
Bohemian - are you in NI? I'd never heard of fifteens before I moved here lolClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

afternoon all -
have skimmed the thread but not taken a lot in. Been a long hard day at work - our night shift lady had to do an extra hour for no extra money:mad: but I welcomed the extra hour in bed as its a rush finishing at 10 pm, driving home then back there for 7am!
we're hoping for a meeting with management soon to discuss the shift patterns as we're all kna*ckered all the time.
Glad you like the pic of Louie from yesterday:) its my fav!
DS1s car has broken down - sounds terminal to me!:( cant afford to replace it and we cant afford to help him as we're virtually running it for him as it is.
Sad news yesterday - forgive me if I've already told you - thats what tiredness does for you.:o:D my friend Janet(who has just recovered from bladder cancer)'s daughter in law collapsed and died at only 44 - she leaves a partner and teenage boy. Poor lady was recovering from a stroke quite well or so we thought. Seems to be bad news everywhere at the moment.
anyway OS - not a lot. Already cooked lunch for 8 at work and am now cooking again:cool: but got to collect DS from work first. DH's back is very painful today.
thats it for now.
(((hugs))) where needed xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Oh UOLYPOOL,
I've just gone back to 20th Oct looking for your last post on here, just seen that t was today, duh. !!
I was wondering how your "lodger" is doing and hoping his Mum has seen a way out. You did post that there would be a court case, I'm hoping that it will go well and that the s**t man will have his just deserts.
Sorry, just been thinking of you all for a while. Been there as a child.:o x

TAPLADY,
I'm so sorry to read your sad post about your friend Jannet's DiLaw. Such a shock at a young age.
Healing thoughts to you and everyone she knew. x0 -
Taplady sorry to hear your sad news. I too loved the pic of Louie; I did reply to your post earlier, but was having a lupie moment, and replied on yesterday's thread. *rolleyes*
Molly I hope Poppy's doing a bit better, and can soon manage without the Metacam. Am I right in thinking it's a thickish liquid that you measure out in a little syringe-type thing? If so, it's the same stuff that a couple of my guests have had; Pip had hers on a bit of salami, and Sidney preferred it on a small piece of bread.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
