EXPIRED Big Boy giant beanbag

I also wish that I'd done some research on Infurn beforehand as I just assumed that these were the genuine article. So I ordered 2 of these 'Bigboys' on the 3rd of November and believed their approx 6 week delivery time.

After several emails to Groupon/Infurn they finally arrived today and let me tell you they were not worth the wait!! The quality is shocking, when I opened the boxes it looked as though the bag had split as there were beans & fluff everywhere!! It looks as though they have just shoved the bag under a machine, filled it & then stitched it up (badly)!! You can see through the material and can see the contents. I would at least have expected an internal bag. Anyway now I guess I have the impossible task of trying to get my money back.

Have contacted Groupon today, they advised that they cannot refund me unless Infurn confirm that it's ok first??! Which is really annoying seeing as Groupon are the company that took my money in the first place! I wish I hadn't of been so stupid as I did have a little voice in my head saying 'this looks too good to be true'!! Oh well, you live & learn! Will post any updates & would love to hear from anyone else who has the same issue!

Hi yummy mummy,
Unfortunately it does look like it is the same company. I'm not sure what the company is like now. I do still receive emails from them promoting products despite me trying to unsubscribe many times!
Most reviews if the actual beanbags are positive so if you get them it should all be OK, maybe someone else on here can advise if delivery times have improved???

Thanks.I have started a chargeback through my bank and cancelled via email so fingers crossed. So annoyed with myself for not reseaching first. Lesson learnt.

Happens to the best of us, I didn't research either when I placed my order, then kicked myself when I seen some posts on here after! No doubt I will do it again ha ha

It is a shame the company has got a bad name as the beanbags look great in their photos.

I have started a chargeback claim on my card. Will see what happens. From what I can figure out, they are cheap copies of the Big Boy ones and they may turn up in May. DH works near to the London office so is popping along to see if it actually exists lol

The fact that groupon are still perfectly willing to deal with this company and sell their products to you should also tell you a lot about Groupon. My own advise is steer well clear of anything Groupon-related. It's not impossible to get the bargain you were hoping for, but it turns sour just too often to be worth it.
