Thought I'd put an update on beanbaggate.
My account on Infurn says beanbag will be delivered week 02. Well that has passed and nothing. I have emailed Infurn and up till now they have always replied but not this time.
    I don't want a refund I want my beanbag!!!!
Has anyone heard anything from Infurn?

Have to say this has been my first experience with Groupon and think it will be my last, too much hassle!

Exactly the same with me, i have now got a DHL tracking number but the dhl site doesn't recognise it. I have contacted groupon and this is their reply:
"Thanks for the email, I'm sorry to hear you've not received your order. We have had some specific delivery periods sent to us from Infurn, can you tell me what colour beanbag you ordered and I will be able to tell you when this is due to be sent out."

Would rather Infurn were just honest with us.

    BeanBagGate continues!!
I emailed Groupon to advise them that Infurn was now not replying to my emails. They have sent me an email saying that Infurn confirmed to them my beanbag will be dispatched......wait for it.......... 12th March!!!! That is a full 4 months 9 days after ordering it, I am a patient person but this is a joke.

They say if this is not suitable I need to reply to them for a refund. I am now going to tell my partner about his christmas present and if he really wants the beanbag we will wait but I think I will be getting a refund.....now the question is how long will it take to get a refund:(.

Thanks Groupon/Infurn for ruining a christmas present!!! I have to say I will not be using either company again.

We'd like to apologise for the delay receiving your product and any inconvenience this may have caused. As a thank you for your patience, Infurn have kindly agreed to offer £40 off towards your next purchase from them.
This Email just arrived. Interestint to see if the bean bag arrives too...
  • I ordered a big boy beanbag for my Husband as an extra Christmas treat.
I ordered and paid for it on 2nd November I have still not had a reply from Infurn, however I did get a reply form Groupon giving me the date of 31st Janaury to be delivered. I am not holding my breath on this delivery date!!
I paid for the groupon using Paypal so I am hoping to claim my payment back through them. Although I did pay for the delivery using my debit card I just hope that I will get that money back too.

I like some others would prefer the beanbag as I have been after one for a while now. Has anyone else order and recieved a grey one yet?
  • Hi all,

Well done to the ones who have got an email response from Infurn, I've emailed two complaints so far ad have not heard a bean(bag) from them. I ordered two bean bags in late October 2011, and was given the delivery date of week 48. I suppose the clever trick here is they haven't said what year week 48 is in! I got one bag in the first week of January, but I'm still awaiting my second. I must say though, the first bag looks pretty good.

I am fully aware that these voucher deals websites can cause a bit of a rush for goods, therefore, the delivery date will be a bit hit and miss, however, a little customer service wouldn't go amiss here. What would be wrong with an email from the company saying 'due to unprecedented demand..'? I have received weekly emails from them peddling their goods, but none replying to my emails asking for answers.

I look forwards to my £40 off next purchase voucher. I wonder if I can cash it in for £40 off my previous order for the delays incurred? What I will say though is that Infurn were very speedy - when processing my payment.

    Rant over.
  • Seeing as Infurn didn't reply to any of my emails, and my delivery date changed from week 48 to week 01 to week 03, which has come and gone, I did a chargeback via Barclaycard for the £12.95 postage (after getting the rest of the money refunded from Groupon).

Today I got this email IN GERMAN (sorry - it's long and translated from GoogleTranslate) :
