He isn't a copy for a start.. Secondly, even if he was he isn't selling them as 'Fatboy Beanbags' is he, he's selling them as Bigboy Beanbags'.

The problem here is sites like groupon are selling cheap replicas of Bigboy beanbags under the name of Bigboy beanbags..

Like said in the last post on the previous page as soon as something goes wrong with the replicas (which lets face it, they're cheap replicas so problems will arise) who are they going to turn to for a replacement/refund etc?

They will google 'Bigboy Beanbags' end up on Markry's website and will be very angry when they are told they're not covered by them as it's not an official product.

Hi there, Ours is not a copy. Its made from canvas like fabric, which is waterproof, breathable, machine washable, UV protected and has a separate inner bag NONE of which can be said of the fatboy, although fatboy it is still an excellent product. So NOT a copy but a unique product.

Thanks whaleyp, we were thinking about going for the groupon offer but were unsure as it seemed too good to be true. Seems we were right to doubt it :T

Just a quick bit of research shows pigback.com registered to a small flat at 33 Massey Avenue, Belfast (freely available and widely published public record information from business directories) - Why do pigsback choose not to reveal their office address on their website, indeed they dont even provide an email address (they use a rather innocuous auto mail pop up that cant be traced).

NEVER trust your money to a company that doesnt display FULL contact details such as head office address as well as telephone AND email contacts.

The address of this company when googled reveals countless businesses at this address. It has no shipping facilities - its just a flat in a house in Belfast.

If your alarm bells dont ring at that then feel free to send them your money - in fact you may as well send it in a brown paper bag without including your delivery details

I got a Bigboy bag from the Ideal home Last year http://www.bigboybeanbag.com/ and have to say it is excelent. I thought this groupon was a bit of a odd one as the numbers just dont add up expecially as groupon take a big cut of the money. Plus 6 weeks for delivery is maddness!!

If you look up the info (or even just visit pigsback.com) you'll see he meant pigsback.com. Pigback.com doesn't even exist! :rotfl:
