I've almost purchased this this morning using Groupon. Hadn't heard of the sight until yesterday but booked something else through it yesterday so got an email this morning about the bIgboy giant bean bag. Have to say I didn't realise how expensive the original ones are so rung a friend who said it was a bargain. Glad I researched a bit before filling in the bank details.

I purchased mine from: http://www.beanbagbazaar.co.uk/bazaar-bags.aspx and its looks brand new a few years later and alot of use (just incase someone wants somewhere trustworthy to buy one from - although they are £68.99 from here - the p&p is free!).0

Sadly I had never heard of Big Boy beanbags and when the voucher offer came through on KGB deals, I was seduced by the voucher code and the fact that I am on a tight budget for Christmas. I was looking for a fab present for my brother and his young son and this fitted the bill. I had done some research as to whether Big Boy was a kosher brand and discovering that it was, I placed the order.
I purchased two vouchers to order as gifts for my family and have had nothing but a headache.
First of all the voucher links were wrong, then the delivery costs were different to those advertised. At that point the payment had been taken from my card.
I emailed Infurn as regards delivery and they promised a date. This has been and gone.
I have contacted KGB who also advised a new date had been stipulated to them, as on or before the 13th November. No delivery.
In the meantime I had been researching Infurn and emailed them as regards delivery and now there is no response. I have written to KGB deals to ask them to advise how I can recover my money from them and Infurn.
I am very disappointed and alarmed that payment was taken swiftly but no items.
Please be warned of this.
I am now very grumpy with myself for being fooled and worried that voucher companies may not be aware of the problems with their external product suppliers.0 -

Just a quick update - managed to get through to the company today as regards delivery and have been advised that delivery will be next week. I'll wait to see what happens .....0

as anyone actually received their beanbag from this offer?
I ordered one and now I am thinking it is not going to arrive. I emailed Infurn on Saturday and they have advised it will be delivered within 3 weeks?!
Is this just a ploy to make me believe it will come before christmas??0 -

I've been calling them and had been told ages ago that my item was due for dispatch imminently - never arrived. I also received an badly written email with a 20% voucher for further items (as if). I cannot get hold of the company as 'the voicebox is full.' I finally tracked down a number for KGB and asked for a refund which I just need to check has gone through, in the meantime, postage costs are in dispute with the credit card.
I am rather dubious if the bean bags will arrive and if they do, what state they will be in. I'm blinking annoyed as it was the ideal gift for my brother.

Just wondered if anyone had received theirs yet? I did order (because, for what I wanted, it was a good enough price - granted the more expensive ones come with this that and the next - they are also more expensive than a decent armchair would cost, plus I didn't have all day to spend researching whether it was a good deal when no one has actually reported on the quality of these.)
Just wondered whether they had actually started to arrive yet - I'm willing to reserve judgement until I've actually seen it. My estimated delivery date was week 49 (this week - which corresponds with the 6 weeks groupon stated as I ordered first week in November) and as of yet no tracking number on my account. I emailed Infurn last week to ask if I would be receiving the bean bag before christmas, this is the reply I got:
Unfortunately we cannot gurantee delivery before Christmas at this moment. We are trying everything we can, but due to the holiday season and the delays we are not able to give you an exact delivery time. We apologize for the inconveniences caused.
I think this means I won't be needing all the wrapping paper I have for my partner's pressie!! I am really disappointedas my initial delivery week was wk 44 and thought even if there was a delay it would still be here for christmas.
It would be great to hear from anyone else who has ordered and if anyone has actually received a beanbag.0 -

. . . Ditto elmoo2u! Bought extra big wrapping paper especially. My delivery date was week 49 so if you are still awaiting yours I'm not holding out much hope. I did email them too and this was the response I got. . .
"The high popularity of the Big Boy has exceeded our highest expectations and we made changes in our systems as it was happening by optimized our production lines and supply chain to fulfil all orders in the fastest way possible. We have added two more factories to our suppliers and invested a large amount of money in two additional machines that are running around the clock while still maintaining the quality of our products.
We have made new arrangements with DHL, our logistics partner in Germany, who are providing 4 trucks per day that are picking up Big Boys as soon as they are ready for being shipped.
This immediate reaction to the unexpected demand enables us to deliver to every customer in a timely manner. Due to the size of our company, we were able to implement these major changes within only a few weeks, most companies would need months to make these arrangements and investments. We apologize for any inconveniences caused by this, but we can assure you that every request will be honoured and all orders fulfilled.
