Have you heard anything back from PetPlanet by the way about the carrier?

You don't have to open a credit account with very. You can have a "cash" account where you pay for what you buy at the time of order with your card, this is what I have as I also didn't want yet another credit account. If you do have a credit account, you have the option of paying over 3 months interest-free which of course you don't have with the cash account.

I suppose the only down-side is that it is £3.50 p&p: although you can get free delivery if you have it delivered to a Collect+ store, and the returns are free if you decide you don't like/want the item. ;)

Ahhhhhhh, that's interesting:D, just checked & there's a click & collect store in the town where I work (same one my current catalogues uses)......

I would agree with you! Mine was fiddly when new, but now I've used it a few times, and got used to how it "works", it closes really easily at the top. If I can manage to get my Harry cat in and the lid closed easily, then it is possible for it to be used for any cat :D
  • Honestly, fiddly I can cope with - having to pull the front door to get the lid to shut just isn't right ...... Not sure if it's the lid that's been bashed or the orange bit at the front door that's wonky but something's def not right.

Fingers crossed for the new one arriving tomorrow .....

I must say I've always found PP to be very helpful so am pleased their customer service is as good as ever.

Now .... I need to try to get it back into the box it came in for it to be collected and it looks pretty impossible to take to pieces - so that's my task for the day!

  • Well the replacement's arrived and .... it's a perfect fit everywhere:j:j:j

I will say the way it was packaged was totally different from the first one (both lids folded inside each other with stuff between them and the food bowls/clips and then the whole lot sealed together in one bag - compared to all bits being loose and in separate bags).

Either the other's been returned (maybe someone's "played" around with it and decided it's not for them) or it's been faulty .... anyway doesn't really matter now!

So, I'd like to say a big A+ to PP for sorting it so quickly ...:D their customer service is as good as ever.

Still a bit fiddly to close - but I was expecting that - and will have to get some practice in before it's booster time!
