£2 savers club part 2

Don't you think its cheating if you "buy" the £2 coins off a friend?
If I get one in my change it gets "banked", if I get a handful in one transaction then only one gets "banked" or I have to go back to the cashpoint which defeats the object...
£42 banked in Nov
£58 banked in Dec
£32 banked in Jan so far
(£100 paid off a credit card bill, and £32 towards this months £58 cc bill)0 -
EL - We're going to Florida in June for 2 weeks (all paid for by saving in advance so not going into debt for it!:D) so we are saving them towards our holiday spending money. :j
nomoneytoday - I don't consider it cheating to buy them off a friend, and I "bank" all that come my way. If this means I am short of funds, it just makes me more determind to manage  - we eat more out of the store cupboard, and walk where possible when we might usually take the bus!:p Sometimes I have to go to the cashpoint slightly earlier than planned, but I then try and stretch that money out (using store cupboard ingredients, etc) until when it would normally be expected to last. Funnily enough I quite enjoy the challenge (although obviously in an emergency I would just take the £2 coins out of the pot rather than go into debt!).

Just asked for the first time if I could have a £2 coin in my change. She said 'are you collecting them?' with a very suspicious look in her eye.
