The shop assistant in Boots actually apologised that she had to give me £2 coins as she didnt have a £5 note. Almost bit her hand off. Another 2 for the piggy bank!

I got 4 £2 coins in my change from tescos this morning, is it extremely sad that i was nearly skipping out of the shop heehee!!

the 1st £2 coins i have had since startin the £2 coin challenge.

update - got 5x£2 coins yesterday :T (went to bingo with the girls - free night of course! lol) Also got another one today - change from shopping. Well chuffed - within budget and a coin for the savings pot too

I was at the post office this morning posting ebay stuff and the cashier was going to give me £4 in pound coins, but I spotted he had £2 coins and asked for one of those... It was my first time asking for a £2 coin, I feel enlightened and almost like it was a christening into the club proper-like

Although not enlightened enough to accept the £2 x 2 he was goign to give me - can't save that much in one go..

4 x £2 coins and 4x sherrifs badges today safely tucked away in tin and terramundi:D and another debt gone, I think credit card may take a while:mad:
