Yey i got a £2 coin the other day, my first one! AND then i got another one at the fair, put them both away so not to spend them. Was so chuffed! my boyfriend thinks im crazy getting all excited about a £2 coin haha :)
  • I have a gigantic old whisky bottle that I've had since I was a student and whenever I remember I put ALL my change in there, the only exception being £1 coins. It's a great way to declutter your purse and handbag and save some money. It's about 1/4 full at the moment. I'm really tempted to see how much is in there now but think I'll wait til it's about 1/2 full. My friend does the same and when hers was full it paid for a holiday for her and her husband. :j

    Hiya,

I have been hovering around the site for some time now, and have decided to join the £2 challenge. Started yesterday so £2 so far! I haven't set a target, but am just aiming to get through the year without dipping into it

  • This is a great idea. I got one of those piggy banks you have to break to get access to for my 50th birthday, and have been saving £2 coins since April...not sure how much in it though - maybe £30-40? Not going to break/bank until it's full! Keep you posted!
