Got one in a charity shop today. The puffin money box is almost full but desperately resisting temptation to count the contents until just before we go skiing. The contents might pay for the ski hire!:jMortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000

:T I think this is a great idea... i am going to start right now as I have a £2 coin sitting on my table from the change I came home with... Thankyou for the inspiration.....9 years and counting0

I think this is a great idea too - ~i can't believe I never thought of it - too busy spending I suppose. Start of me facing up to things and being positive.Stop spending and, a foreign word to me, 'save'. Can't wait to adapt my empty 7Up bottle (morrisons offer 3x£1.45) for £2 and a money box for 20p's. I alway try and use my change instead of a note but I like this to help me save for next year eg car tax/hol spends/christmas 09. I never looked at the forum on this site for years and I am so glad now I registered. It makes me feel there are things to aim for and face up to. The car tax due in February won't feel as painful now. I've already got 6 months of tax saved. Gonna aim for a full 12 month disc.

I think i want to join in this it sounds very rewarding.
I think i get the jist, you save £2.00 coins then put them into your ISA/bank account at your target amount
I might try and save these and use them to pay my car tax in Sept 2009. Anything extra can go in my ISA0 -
Another two from Sainsburys today:j
