Got one yesterday in the post office. That's the first one in ages. Can't wait to count them just before we go away for Christmas.:j
Edited to add - I think you can join whenever you like - just start posting on here when you find a £2 coin! Not sure if there'll be a new thread for 2009 or not as I'm not sure who organises this one.

10 coins in the space of 8 days is nuts. I can only think that perhaps a big amount has recently been put into circulation in West Berkshire. *shrug*
Only bad thing is that £20 is quite a lot of money... Sure, I'll have a full jar, but no money in my purse!!
I've decided that the money will buy my next years car tax, which is due in February.
I used to find £2 coins were like the proverbial London buses, non for ages and then they all arrived at once. So I used to put them in another part of my purse until the end of the week. They wern't where I would hand them over straight away but were there if I needed them - it was usually under the receipts. Those I hadn't had to use by the end of the week were added to the pot.
