Ive got £20 now since around christmas time, although i have exchanged the odd one with family member for pound coins, not sure if thats cheating.
  • lol, I save my coins aswell towards spending money for holiday ... I was gutted (in a way) when someone paid me for their Avon worth £22 in £2 coins! In my milk carton it has gone!

    Grocery challenge: £230 / £230 left
  • I'm up to £12 for about 6 weeks of tucking them away.

Using them (and my "small change" jar) to save up for a (cheap British) holiday with my girlfriend, as its otherwise not budgetted for. ;)
  • I'm doing ok, just spent the £30 on a credit card. Not a lot of £2 coins around at the mo for some reason, but I just seem to keep being given 20p's

I am up to £96 :j as the woman who runs the lottery at work (which I'm not in as I think its throwing cash away :A ) had £10's worth and she agreed I could change them on pay day for a note :T , she was well happy not having to carry all the cash about :rotfl: , so now I'm desperate to get to £100 and then I can put them towards the debt - just two more pleeeeeeeese.

However the down side is I told her I collected them and what the new total is - she was so impressed she is going to start collecting them so I have lost a route to collecting a few
