Final roundup time - I aimed to save £50 in £2's by the year end and actually managed to save £80, all of which has been banked now. I've reset my total to 0 for 2008 and don't have a challenge number or anything , but will aim for £50 again

have been saving £2 for years but never kept a running total. Just bank them and use them when I want/need something - this year I bought my car tax from them so worth doing. Right will start afresh today (will bank the ones I have on Thursday when the banks are open). Would like to use them for something nice for me this year so that will be a good motivator.

I'm still at zero for 2008 but it's still the holidays here in the north
(2nd Jan is a public holiday here, think it's because the parties last so long and we need an extra day to get the whisky out out veins
