Hope you feel better Bramble, take it easy.
JackieO - sounds like you are enjoying your half term!
BB - Glad you managed the funeral ok. Used to visit Old Portsmouth a lot in my youth and it was always good fun.

Been at both works today, feeling very tired though. Not much else happening - DD has a few days off so she is keeping up with the housework. Had chicken stir fry for tea and DD was amazed to discover that I make the sweet and sour sauce. She always thought it came from a jar!! I think that may have been my OS for the day.

    Take care. XX

Thanks NPM, have requested a call back (i'm probably the only person still on pay as you go!) the pain killers have helped which is good, but will see what they say.

I went to the drs a couple of months ago because i had a similar pain a few months ago which lasted the best part of a week, but she did tests and nothing came up, so might go see her again.

Have you had the call back yet?
I do not wish to panic you and cannot give medical advice but I had the same sort of pain and at first it was thought to be IBS but it kept coming and going, it was worse after spicy foods and fatty foods. The pain to me was like labour pains, really sore. I also got itchy skin. I then was referred for an ultrasound scan and was found to have gallstones. I understand gallstones can only be detected by a scan and can be misdiagnosed if you do not fit the bill (fat fair and forty). I have now had my gall bladder removed and promptly put on a stone as I could eat again.
Im not saying this is what you have only that you need to go back to the doctor and get it sorted out if it keeps happening.
    Hope you feel better soon.
  • hope you have had a call back Bramble....as a nurse I have to agree with the above post, you need to get it checked out if it keeps happening..get some bloods done at docs x
