Morning!
Having a slow day today after a very busy weekend, and Monday!
I am planning on doing as little as possible today because I am just wiped out from the last three days!
Although I am looking forwards to DS coming home today
Yesterday I hit week 29, didn't loose any weight again this week, which is a good sign! Baby Roo is supposed to double in weight between now and 35 weeks, so maybe i'll start gaining soon
Oh I did forget to take my weekly bump picture

Morning All,
I have put the first load of washing on before work and brought lunch with me from home.
I need to spend some time on my banking today - I have some cashflow problems! I have made some purchases (for Christmas) and the payments have gone out prior to the money covering them going in! I know the money is on its way to me over the next week but I just dont like to see my account in the red! Oh well, I will try and do some "rearranging". I am not actually worried about it since I know that I have the money coming to cover it but you know what I mean!
Other than that, I am carrying on with my lists. I might also try and type up my Christmas labels for cards today (or over the next couple of days).
Not sure what dinner is yet but it might well be good old egg and chips!
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all before and after, and ((HUGS)) to anyone needing one.
Today's observation = retired people have no concept of people with children wanting a lie-in when it's half term hols.
The couple across the road have decided to have their roof replaced starting from today...workmen began banging and cranked their radio up at 8am.
Today I'm in Uni for a class at 1pm so I'm getting as much done as possible - 3rd WM load in, rabbit and kids fed, quick tidy up done.
Me and DH are treading on eggshells today - he accused me of something last night which was uncalled for, and we were arguing til the early hours.
There's money worries thrown in there too - he asked his DS to lend us a couple of grand til January and she said she'll think about it (she and her DH are multi-millionaires FGS!).
Not really a good start to married life huh? It's only been 2 months since the wedding and already it's going tats up.Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage.0 -

To be fair, I dont have kids and therefore I have no idea when half term is (nor do I care, unless I am planning a holiday in which case I try to avoid it!)
I only realised yesterday because there was less traffic!0 -
Good morning, (again). Have done precious little so far today. Belly pork in the oven doing slowly for lunch, and as we are both cutting down on food (for all sorts of reasons, mostly vanity) it will probably be a small sandwich or crispbread and something for tea. The sitting room is in urgent need of a spruce up, the veg for lunch has to be sorted, this is church magazine week, the ironing pile has turned into a mountain and I have visitors for the day on Thursday. So what am I doing rabbiting away here? Getting my priorities right, that's what.
Beth: Have you come down from cloud nine yet?
doodoot: Believe me, some of us retired folk remember all too well the joy of not having to do the school run every morning. Some of us are even retired teachers who not only had to get children to school but ourselves as well. So half term was a double delight. Hard luck with the early workmen though. Why do workmen think that the whole world will just love to hear their choice of radio programme?
cariad: Welcome. It's good here.
Have just discovered that due to my tightening of the purse strings this month, our joint household account is not only not overdrawn but is actually in credit to the tune of "Tadatada" £193.63. The vicaress is so impressed and has a billion ideas of how to spend the money. Heavy sigh! She just doesn't get it sometimes.:money:
