Hello guys and gals ,I am so pleased to see the 'Granny Beth' is back with us again.BB glad the furneral went ok
I went with Dd and the three youngest boys to Battle Abbey today and we had a great time.We had a 'free ghost-spooky walk and the chap was brilliant.I have an English Heritage card so the entrance was free as well.I treated us all to a Simply Italian meal and I'm so stuffed I think tonight it will just be a cuppa and maybe some fruit later on.The boys had a whale of a time and loved the stories that were told, all blood and thunder stuff.DD also got a bargain in the shops as a lot of the bits were priced down to a quid so one boy got a spear another, got some cards and Henry got a bow and arrow set which he is thrilled with.I am having a 'pottering day ' at home tomorrow as we are off to London on Thursday.I need to recoup some puff before then I think .
My eldest DD is down in Torquay at the moment and she said the weather has been awful since they got there yesterday morning .But as she got a dream deal at 'The Grand Hotel' she says she can 'rough it ' for awhile :):) Just started to rain a little while ago its been really nice and sunny all day today and yesterday when we were in Dover it was gorgeous weather.I am hoping it will brighten up for our London Eye trip on Thursday.
right I'm off to make a large pot of tea and put my feet up Have a good evening everyone and I hope things are lookinga bit brighter for you Loulou
    Take care all

    Evening all.

Got up at 1600 after a really goood sleep - didn't have much of a rest break last night and needed the sleep. Luckily I went to A$da yesterday morning and found some whoopsies, am usually there when it's two youghurts and some sliced meat left!! So we had a salmon and broccoli pie thingy with l/o pots and veg - yummy. Can only manage a few hours awake after nights so back to bed soon with a book for me, glad I've got tonight off.

DD2 is moving to Cardiff for work on Thurs so having a day with her and DD1 tomorrow which will be nice.

Hugs to everyone, you really are a friendly bunch.

Thanks NPM, have requested a call back (i'm probably the only person still on pay as you go!) the pain killers have helped which is good, but will see what they say.

I went to the drs a couple of months ago because i had a similar pain a few months ago which lasted the best part of a week, but she did tests and nothing came up, so might go see her again.

Good evening everyone, returning to the thread to declare that i'm officially nackered!! It's been a very long day for both me and OH, I think I posted about half six saying he'd just left for work- he didn't get back til eight  Practically had to force feed him some spuds and liquorice (food of choice when he's ill and tired- of which he is both) then shove him in the shower.
I saw some beautiful blankets and cushion covers in the home style type magazines at work and feel all inspired, I've been eyeing up wool on ebay. Turns out I have 3-4 weeks holiday to take by the end of the year so maybe I'll take a week off to knit and drink tea :o
