Over the last few days I too have suddenly started to receive calls from 0800 064 1087.
It all started after I recieved a call from 0161 380 0417 a few days earlier. I answered it and they said they were phoning on behalf of O2 and wanted to ask me some questions. I told them I was busy. A day later 0161 380 0442 called me. Now we're onto the 0800 number above.
This is very annoying.0 -

Received a call yesterday from the same number (08000641087) claiming to be 02 and asking for details to confirm my name and DOB, stating that my sim isn't registered they asked how do i top up, by vouchers or through my bank card.
Im slightly suspicious and looking into it.0 -

Been ignoring this telephone number (0800 064 1087) for ages, but today decided to answer it on my mobile.
Lady said "this is so an so calling from 02", I promptly replied saying "You do not work for 02, you work for LBM Marketing", to which she said she did not, and that she did work for 02. I then go on to ask her to stop calling me, if I want a new 02 product, I'll get in touch with them (just upgraded to the iPhone 4 a few weeks back, and quite happy). She asked why I thought she was from LBM Marketing to which I said that I had carried out some research on the number through Google. She told me to ignore everything I have read on Google, it was all lies :rotfl:
Anyhow, I asked her to remove my name from their list and she said she can't. I then told her that I would add the number as a contact in my phone with the name IGNORE LBM so it will show up when they contact me. Job done.
I'll contact the number mentioned previously here, and see if my number can be removed from their spam list.
Annoyed, angry, and sick of these cash extraction companies trying to rip me off right, left and center :mad:0 -
I've had a couple of missed calls from the LBM number too. I get so many sales calls on my mobile these days I tend to ignore any number that isn't in my address book. If they don't leave a messsage it can't have been that important can it?0

I have just googled the number 08009524854, which on researching is LBM. They can't hold the line wrong but this is one in a long list of numbers which have attempted to phone me over recent weeks.
I had this number last week 02920822641 - which were claiming to be vodafone with a special offer:mad: and no amount of me saying I wasn't interested, they couldn't beat the deal I am currently on and could they remove my number from their list made the woman shut up. Eventually I said that if they didn't remove my number and continued to harass me I would go to the police - she removed my number pretty sharpish at the mention of harassment (my current line for these numbers)0 -
Just got called by 0800 064 1087, didn't answer.
This number used to call me months ago but I always ignored it and then it stopped, now it seems to have started again...
I'm not an O2 or Vodafone customer and haven't knowingly spoken to any of these companies ever.
EDIT 1: I'm now getting Optical Express competition text messages from 07860 030840, which I also used to get so perhaps there is a link between the 2 numbers.
I've never been an Optical Express customer either, in fact I don't wear glasses and haven't had an eye test since I left school...
EDIT 2: I'm now getting txt messages from Delta Force Paintball, again, never used them and never been paintballing!0
