I just worked out that t mobile will be out of pocket by £245000 by this mistake.
    £10.21 per month x 12
    2000 sold.
I bet some person in tmobile will getting their wages docked!!

I've got a 12 months sim only deal with t-mobile that costs £7.50 per month and gives me 600 minutes, 500 texts, 3gb of internet and a flexible booster. So the actual full priced deal we got is vastly overpriced at £10.21.

And of those '2000' who got the deal a fair percentage will exceed the bundled allowance and end up paying extra.

Any kind which makes me a nice little profit and gives me a free bundle (which I don't actually need but which might have a use at some point). That's also the answer to your second question. To be more precise, it is a Galaxy - but I've already sold it.

Just the two years of sending off bills to remember now, and all for 3 quid a month?

what i mean mobile junkine, is why would they give you a free phone with that deal?

Not the deal people have been arguing about. I wouldn't have done that one even if it were free. My contracts come with phones - the phones provide further opportunity for profit. Why pay them when you can have them pay you? Break even isn't worthwhile. Though my latest addition is on the same network.

No! That's very small scale thinking! Last month I had four claims for me and as many to watch over for other people. In December I have five of my own. I have hundreds of pounds going out each month and hundreds coming in. The "in" far exceeds the "out", the cashflow on the deals I go for is usually also excellent and I never use my land-line since I have thousands of minutes available every month (not to mention unlimited texts and a LOT of data should I need it). I always carry two mobiles at any time and there are (in addition) numerous other advantages and benefits people haven't even though of. Besides - it's not only profitable but fun and rewarding to so easily beat the opposition at their own game!

Of course if you don't mind PAYING a lot more than £2 a month (apart from the rare freebie slip-up like this one) then feel free!!

Arent you worried the companies could just stop paying out cashback after all a company can do what they want, regardless of their legal position.:rotfl:

No, not in the least worried. When (not if - as has happened in the past) they choose to ignore their legal obligations I use the law to ensure they cough up. The difference is I always win and don't start a course of action where it is quite clear that I will lose, as would have happened here.

People have exactly the same ability (on the other side) to ignore the fact they will lose and start suing regardless.

It was worded poorly, but you know well what he actually meant.

In one direction companies do have plenty of freedom, e.g. they can settle before court. This doesn't necessarily mean that they do this because they "have no choice".
  • Yay got my sim all running now and im a very light user so this is perfect 12 months free contract :)

BUT i did this through TopCashBack and it tracked at £50.50 cashback as this was the rate for joining t-mobile sim only contract.

well its still in the tracked status still but wondering if anyone else did this and if it has been confirmed yet?

and if this is the case WOW t-mobile may have lost a lot more money:(
