He has not said that it was a waste of time. He said that it was a waste of money. You won - well done, but some still believe that it was because t-mobile "had no choice", not because of the generosity and/or goodwill and/or unwanted bad publicity like you say.

Yep. A company can do what they want, regardless of their legal position. In this instance they plainly thought it would be much better publicity to cave in. The thought of them being frightened of going to court is worth a smile!0
