Raining constantly and heavily here all day, somehow managed to forget to put on handbrake when I got out of car to collect DGS2 in school parking lot and it rolled into another car....not much damage done but its a big expensive car with metallic paint so no doubt it will cost me a fortune....totally my fault so can't argue the toss.

Ooohhh! I've been out and missed all the excitement. Congrats Beth, a lovely grandaughter and a triumphant DD I should think. Have had a quick whizz through today's posts. Island Maid: Yes, I've had several posts disappear lately, annoying when you've just finished a long one isn't it? I thought it was me, it usually is.
Loulou: If that's a cold lovey it's a humdinger. Wrap yourself up and be selfish, for goodness sake don't try to be brave about it. As to depression I'm no authority. I just know that the one time I suffered from it I didn't want to know about anything good, I didn't want to know about anything bad, I didn't want to know anything about anything. I feel terribly sorry for anyone who has to suffer this on a regular basis. No helpful hints I'm afraid, just lots of love.
cat-smith. Cabbage. Yum! when I was feeding a lot of school children who wouldn't even try it I shredded some up very finely and tossed it in a bit of garlic butter. I only did a small amount and announced that I had this very special vegetable ( I gave it some French name) but there was only a little of it so there wouldn't be enough for everyone unfortunately. They nearly broke their necks to be first in the queue. It was a firm favourite from then on.
tealover: If you can't whinge here my dear, where can you let off steam? Go for it - we are all here to listen and sympathise.

I've done nothing interesting at all. I'll try harder tomorrow.
