Back yesterday morning from Turkey, hectic week, wedding was on Friday, busy today sorting the laundry mountain! House was tidy and in one piece, and DD had even managed to do some washing!
Got to take MIL to 2 hospital appointments tomorrow, and will need to iron at some point, at least not back to work till Thursday, OH was back today and is currently snoring sprawled across the couch!

Oh what a roller coaster day it has been, ups and down in minutes, phew!! I'm exhausted. I made sure that every one has been fed. DGD bathed, teeth done, hair brushed and tucked into bed, she has been so so good. She is missing Mummy and Daddy but has not once complained or cried. I have done my best to keep her happy and occupied and I think it's worked. DGD stays with us often so she is used to Nanny chasing, playing and cuddling all at the same time.
must put the slow cooker on now as I have 4lbs of stewing steak to cook, for pie or casserole or stew or all 3. Washing has dried so will sort out what needs to be ironed and what can just be sat on.

Congratulations Beth and to all your family.

    Lou...take care of yourself.

Hugs to anyone else in need or want of one.

Raining constantly and heavily here all day, somehow managed to forget to put on handbrake when I got out of car to collect DGS2 in school parking lot and it rolled into another car....not much damage done but its a big expensive car with metallic paint so no doubt it will cost me a fortune....totally my fault so can't argue the toss.

Sleep well all and stay safe
