    Morning everyone,

Beth, fingers crossed for your DD.

First day of half term. WM is on and I think that the washing will dry outside, I haven't had to use the TD yet!

DD2 is off to Belton House, a National Trust property with a fantastic adventure playground, with her triplet friends today and then when she gets back she has netball training. She will sleep well tonight!
DD1 is off to town with her friends and DS will sleep till lunchtime, grunt a bit and then go off to play football in the park!

I have to go to the supermarket to get some food and later my friend is coming round to sort out becoming my new cleaner. It has worked out really well, my old cleaner retired just as my friend gave up her job as a midday supervisor and started looking for cleaning work. It may feel a bit odd for a while as I have known this lady as my friend for ages but I am really happy to have someone I trust in my house.

Tea tonight is sausage and mash and cabbage, I love cabbage!

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    Morning all

Half term here, too, and littlies only got up 15 minutes ago! :) WM on, need to bank some coins today, collect new SC from Arg0s (got £10 voucher to spend and SC half price so will only cost £11.50 in real money!) and buy some cheap gin for sloe gin. Managed to find 4lb of sloes yesterday, which are now in the freezer, so will be making later.

Going to clean all the windows today, change our bed and tidy dining room so I can use table for sewing. Tea will be sausages/bacon from the freezer, with mash, veg and gravy, not cold here but it saves me buying owt else!

Have a good day all, hope your daughter's ok, Beth, hugs and kisses all round.

    A xo

nothing os to report unless you include having no appetite. have a horrid cold. my nose and ears are completely blocked and now my eyes are streaming gunk :o my arms and legs are aching so much and i cant make my mind up if i am hot or cold :(

other than that, i'm still stuck down this big, black hole. there seems to be no way out and i am jst digging myself further and further in. things really arent good between me and hubby. he is getting deeper into his depression too. tbh i dont know why i am still fighting it :(

anyway i am feeling rather sorry for myself. cant face going out to get anything for this cold so just taking paracetamol.

good luck to your dd beth and hugs to anyone who needs them

Good Morning chums Hang on in there Loulou there will be light at the end of the tunnel.Life is so precious try to see something positive if you can .Write down all the good things you can think of even if its only the fact that its not raining or the sun is shining a little.I do feel for you my late sister suffered with depression and it really was a big black dog on her back and not just a case of feeling fed up.Unload here if you want to we are all here to help a little if we can.
Beth I have everything crossed for the safe arrival of the baby Today hopefully the suspense is killing us all.

Well I'm off with my tribe of lads and my DD to Dover castle for the day.The booys can run some excess energy off climbing up the Keep and I will sit in the sun (hopefully) and watch them, picnic at the ready.I made a big batch of fairy cakes and a nice victoria sponge cake yesterday also a bacon, mushroom and cheese quiche which will come in handy today.
I will also take a large flask of coffee for DD and I to fortify us.The entrace for us is free as the boys are on my English heritage card and my DD is allowed in as my care as I have mobility problems. So a nice day out that won't break the bank.My eldest has gone off to Torquay for a couple of days with her OH and she found that to book into the Grand Hotel for two nights only came to a tiny bit more than a travel lodge as she got a good deal .She just emailed to say they were near exeter and its raining.Whereas here in Kent its mild and sunny and a nice day is forecast. But still staying in a nice hotel means she can relax and not worry about the weather
Well time I got a wriggle on as the boys will be eager to get off
Hope you all have a good week and those who are sad or blue have a <cuddle>> life can get better eventually
    Cheers chums

    Good morning,

I am taking the house elf and his friend to see "The Smurfs" film this morning as it's £2.50 per child, adults go free. I'll be putting the slow cooker on before we go, so dinner should mostly cook itself.

I spent yesterday reorganising the playroom...in summer the sofa goes against the radiator, but in the winter I move the sofa into the bay window leaving the radiator clear. This child has too many toys! His Christmas stuff this year will be no more than a carrier bag full. He is careful, and apart from things that we have given away, there is very little I have had to throw out. I feel a spot of ebaying coming up......

Last week I made apple pies and raspberry jam. One of the recipients of a jar of jam has sent me another carrier bag of apples (bonus!), so they're sitting on the kitchen table. I'm hoping to get round to them this afternoon.... I need to make some cakes too as it's half term and the elf and friends will be munching their way through the house. I have no idea how they survive on one mid day meal at school.

Hugs to Betheebee and daughter. I hope things start to hurry up.

HH a hug for you too, just because you never let things get you down and always make me smile.

    Take care all of you

    Morning all,

another monday (how quickly did that come round??) and it feels like the whole world has a week off apart from me! Am feeling v sorry for myself today. Had (yet another) huge row with OH last night, with him storming off at midnight saying he was leaving. That lasted about half an hour till he came back and went in the spare room. He was stomping around and shouting till nearly 2am so am v tired now.

Didn't speak to him this morning, just left for work. Am so sick & tired of him being like this all the time.

Anyway, enough whinging from me - sorry!

Have a good day all, take care x.

    Morning all,

Bright and beautiful day here, washing blowing on the line, need to wash dd's bedding but she is still in it atm :D

Lots to do today, need to give the house a good going over, shopping, gardening, pack and out away clothes in vacumn bags, visit dad, go to post office, list more bits on Ebay, might have to move a few of these till tomorrow.

Donny, we did not go with pc world in the end, nice young chap in there, basically told us that the machine we wanted was not really suitable, and pointed us in the direction of another more expensive one, which we came home and bought online from somewhere else, worked out cheaper than the original one, for a much better machine :T, should arrive today or tomorrow.

Kathy, I hope you feel better soon xx

Beth, your poor dd, can you not go and spend some time with her ??, hope all goes well xx

Lou, sorry to hear you are so down, hope you start to feel better soon, how is your DS ??

OK have good days all xx

Another one having one of those days so you are not alone Lou x

Im battening down the hatches this week as Im tired and have overdone things. I plan to just potter locally apart from tomorrow when I have a couple of appointments.

Hopefully my cleaner is coming today and will try and get some cooking done this week. I have done a huge stocktake and have a lot of food in so will be using some of that up and not doing a big shop this week.

Other than that I have Kids at home as no work/ school today. Just when I need space and i have a house full and more if I know my kids. Anyway I will tuck myself away with the doggies and let them get on I think!

    Have a good day x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Thinking of those who are feeling like the black dog has moved in. JackieO, your post is so right - just try to find some good thing and write it down. Even a glimpse of sun on a horrible day, even the thought of the sun sometimes.
Beth - wishing speediness for your DD now. It's very exhausting.
Lou - sorry you are having such a difficult time and a cold makes everything so much worse. MrM had something like day and night nurse tabs in their clearance bit yesterday if you can get anyone to go for you. that might help.
Off to get some shopping and hand in a form. I hate forms. I'm sure they are usually made to be difficult!
    Thinking of you all
