Today was a slightly better day.

Today has also been a NSD and I am 60p from my next voucher on Valued Opinions. I have three surveys pending so I should be able to claim the voucher by the end of the week. I will also have enough points for my next Shop and Scan voucher on Monday. Good.

Had an email for an MS job but someone had beaten me to it. Not Good.

Payday is 15 days away and I'm already over drawn by £200. My mobile bill has come out today but I haven't checked my bank balance. I don't want to be a penny over £300 by the time payday rolls around. This leaves me with about £60 to last. I will be ok.

Next payday month my overdraft will be gone and I am only giving myself a tenner a day to live on. I know that there is a book written by a woman who lived on one pound a day but that was her and there is no way that I can do the same. My tenner a day has to include everything save bills and I want some change from it!

By pay day, I should have an extra £41.50 from surveys and mystery shops. If this is true, then I will increase my end of Easter goal.

Corrr yougov like to ask some random questions, don't they?! I went from politics to energy providers to condoms in the space of three minutes. Wierd!

Today is another NSD. Well ... I did have to buy some things for work but I will get my money back tomorrow when I hand the receipt in. I had to pay for it on my debit card but the money will go into my moneybox. So, yeah ... seven NSDs and the year is eleven days old. Good.

I was itching for a takeaway tonight as I got home late and I couldn't be bothered. Oh the temptation was so strong! I am really glad that I resisted the urge but it has highlighted the need to have, maybe, some pizzas in the freezer. You know, something that I can just stick in the oven and not think about for fifteen minutes or so. I don't like many processed foods and I hate ready meals with a passion but sometimes a girl does need to eat something quick in a hurry. I have a money off coupon to use on Friday so I will see what catches my eye in the supermarket.

I have taken a packed lunch to work every day as well. I am really pleased with this but, as I am on a diet (well, a diet of sorts) I don't feel as hungry as I used to. I am weighing myself on Sunday so I will see what the score is then.

Well, I have done the surveys that was sitting in my inbox. I have now four surveys pending on Valued Opinions and I have practically given up with Opinion World as most of the rewards are for entries into draws and I don't want that - I want paypal money.

Anyway, I shall be off. I have a heap of stuff to do for tomorrow (which I am hoping to be another NSD).
  • Glad your debt busting is going well. I've just signed up to Valued Opinions so we'll see if I do better there than on OnePoll!

I also do mysurvey which is ok. A bit hit or miss really.

My aim for next payday month is to pay my overdraft off and stay out of it. Then I need to hammer my CC into oblivion.
  • I'll be wiping off over £200 off my debt on Friday if I'm lucky :)

Oh that would be fantastic if you do :)
  • I just looked at my budget. If my wages are correct and near what I want I should be able to knock £500 off :)

It would be brilliant if you managed that! :)

Well, yesterday wasn't an NSD because I ran out of loo roll and cutting up old newspapers was not an option! :rotfl:I nipped into the supermarket (one that I couldn't use my voucher in - boo!) on the way home and picked some up and a few other essentials as well. I spent £14.15 and I put the change in my money box. I also added the odd pound coins needed for my £366 in 365 days challenge.

I now have £10 in my purse and payday is in 12 days. I haven't picked up my expenses from work so I might have to keep some of the £11 back.

My car is booked into the garage and it will have to go on the CC. I have included an estimated cost (my car always needs work doing to it) to my repayment plan and, if I stick to my guns, the £700 will be gone by July payday.

I am planning on having a quiet weekend and one that completely and utterly ignore the shops.

Still haven't cancelled Sky. I must do it! Tbh, I have been making an effort not to watch any Sky channels this week and, I must say, it went very well. This is probably because most Sky channels are rubbish that do nothing but air repeats!

The weekend is halfway through and I have yet to set foot in a shop. Good! Today marks my nineth NSD :)
