Yessss!!!!!!!!!! I have finally got enough Valued Opinion points for a voucher. FINALLY!!! I have opted for a John Lewis Voucher. This means that I have £35 in vouchers just waiting for me to spend and the year is only six weeks old.

I also received an invitation to do the Shop and Scan food diary. I have already done day one and I will receive a tenner for this. I can stop whinging about me not doing this now lol.

Oh you know, my OH just rolls his eyes at me when I go on about my vouchers and challenges (he has no idea that I am up to my eyeballs in debt - just under £7k to be precise).

I get paid in 12 days. Oh, I can't wait! Will be looking for a second job after Easter as my hours will return to normal and I will be back on a teeny weeny wage :(
  • Well done with valued opinions. I always get screened out by them. Hope you're saving your vouchers to treat yourself with something nice :)

It has taken me a longggg time to amass enough points. I'm going to save them up for either the summer or Christmas. I'm not sure tbh. I just like having them at the min.

Oh yes - it is going to be third time lucky for me lol. It has to be because I have run out of email addresses and I will be blowed if I have to create another lol

Well, I am off for a week and have slipped into my OD again. When will I ever learn?! Anyhoo, I have £15 in my purse and I get paid on Saturday. I have no idea what my bank balance is but I will find out when I log into internet banking.

I'm doing the second week of the food diary and, tbh, I find it really tedious. The ThinkTank that I am doing is much more fun and interesting.

I have had a few NSDs this week. Today being one of them. The next three days have to be them as well but I can do that because nothing needs buying.

The food diary might be dull but, thanks to it, I can claim my next voucher. This means that I have £40 in Debenhans vouchers, £10 John Lewis vouchers and a fiver for Amazon waiting to be spent when the time is right.

Today *is* going to be an NSD. Not a penny will be taken from my bank account

ETA: Today was an NSD :)

Payday on Saturday. Oh, I cannot wait! I need to break down my living on a tenner a day goal as it simply hasn't worked during this payday month. When I was trying to nod off last night, I thought about breaking it down to living of £50 during the working week and living off the left overs and £20 at the weekend. To complicate things further, I thought about breaking it down into week one, two, three and so forth.

Maybe I should draw out £70 each Saturday morning. Nahh, this won't work. Maybe, I should draw out £30 and see how far I get ... Either way, I mustn't see it as having £300 quid for the month as payday months stretch forever when you are on day one and then you get into the habit of thinking 'oh I can always have a lean few days later in the month' when I have overspent ...

I am my own worst enemy at times.

I have alse been thinking about my £2 and £366 in 366 days challenge. I'm thinking of buying premium bonds when I get to a multiple of £100. I know that I should throw the money at my debts and sensible me is thinking that I should be doing that but ... I dunno ... I have paid £600 towards my debts in this payday month so maybe I should buy the bonds. It is going to take me a few months to save the money first. Maybe I should think about it some more.

I have tweaked my signature to shock me into changing my ways. It will be gone! (when I get paid on Saturday £476 will be paid off which will bring it down to £7,382)

Well, I was paid a day early - woohoo! I have paid my bills so my new debt is £7,372 as I have chipped £487 off it.
    I. Must. Not. Dip. Into. My. Overdraft!!!
I am going to try living off a tenner a day again. I have a ten pound note sitting in my purse and whatever isn't spent will be rolled over to tomorrow. I figure that this will cover grocery and petrol spending.
This payday month will be expensive because I have two birthdays, a family dinner, a works do and my anniversary on the horizon. None of which has been paid for yet.
I just have to take each day as it comes and not lose sight of my goal.
Right today will be an NSD! 28 days until payday - bring it on!
ETA: I have resurrected my ebay account and have listed one thing. See - I am learning! Just looked at my CC bill. I now owe (excluding next months projected interest) £535.06. I will try to get it below £500 in ebay sales this month. Now, this might be a challenge as my tat didn't sell well last time but I can give it a go :)

I have a watcher already! Went to the supermarket earlier and I was starving!! It was so tempting to spend, spend, spend. However, as I was with my dad I didn't spend anything and he only treated me to some chocolate so it was win win all round.

Today is an NSD and my tenner rolls over to tomorrow. £20 for tomorrows spends.
