Wise point from bitterandtwisted don't forward the post as he'll know that you have the address etc...just tell the companies his change of address.A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."0

id contact the creditors informing them that he doesnt live in the house any longer attaching evidence (council tax single supplement letter for example) and inform them that any future correspondence will be put back in the post with 'not known at this address' written on it.
id also have my solicitor write to the ex and inform him of this, making him aware that all his post will be returned to sender so he should make appropriate plans with the postal service and those who write to him.
my advice was for someone clearly scared of her ex who she says is very angry. theres no need to antagonise someone your scared of. thats just stupid.
if someone wasnt scared then id be all for them knowing exactly what id done.;)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It sounds like you are already going through enough, OP, without having to worry about debt collectors etc turning up on your doorstep. Your former partner seems to have no qualms in leaving you in a mess, so please don't feel bad about giving the forwarding address and protecting yourself. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0
