The redemption code is only an eight digit number - thats 100 million possible combinations. There were 10,000 purchases, so the odds of picking a real voucher code are 10,000 to 1 - I wonder if somebody wrote a script to plug away at redemption codes and has managed to sweep up some and credit their account(s) - after all, all you enter is the code number and the account email you want to credit. There is no secondary check to tie the voucher code back to the person that bought it....

Exactly why i cashed mine, the moment i was allowed.

I kept submitting and getting what I thought was the same page up asking for my details but in fact about a third down the page it said "Thank You" - so I am assuming its gone through ok.

After I submit, under the my account section of the gumtree site my voucher had moved into the used category. I guess this is a pretty good indication of whether the code was accepted.

Do all the vouchers have the valid from date as Oct 23rd? I am unable to submit also so wondering if this could be the reason and whether others who have managed to submit show different valid from dates.

Can anyone help me, i dont know where to input the code, can someone give me skiffy? thanks xxxx.......sorry just re-read the instructions, trying to input a code on my paypal account rather than going through the proper link.....d-oh!

You need to enter your coupon code HERE but it's not working for most people at the moment so you may need to wait until the 23rd to redeem it. Make sure you use your PayPal email address on the form for it to work. Hope that helps

I've got that too, the coupon hasn't moved into the 'used' category in my account so I'll wait until the 23rd and try again. Fingers crossed!
