Well, I did money transfers yesterday, so I'm not declaring that as an NSD (grrrr, wish I'd thought about it!!)...but today...oh today will be mine, young Freebyious, today will be mine!!

Well a broomstick for the domestic superpowers, but I still think you should have magic needles and of course wool (needles can be used for poking evil tyrants , wool for dealing with labyrinths and throwing nets over unsuspecting bad guys).

Oh sorry to hear you've been down :grouphug: but you are allowed to sulk every so often - it's completely understandable, it hurts when things don't go the way you wanted despite vast effort. Glad the springclean worked for you.

i cannot believe that you've thrown over my offer of a freshly decorated, personalised room with copious nay endless amounts of housework for a broom!!!!!!! lol

hope you managed to achieve your NSD and don't ever appologise for having a low day but that's a different way of working your way out of it, not one i have to admit i've tried before.

Did you not see the 'super power-y-ness' of the broom??!! And now she says I can have magic pins and yarn too....I'll be like Wonder Woman with her magic lasso....though with a less skimpy outfit, otherwise I'd scare the kids!

Some of wonder woman's outfits weren't skimpy, but there were all..."uplifting"...

Exactly - swooping from rooftop to rooftop, sidesaddle with your current scarf project lengthening as it ripples in the slipstream

I'm knitting it as we speak!! Actually a good time to get an overview of where I'm at.....

• three wraps on the go;
• photos of knitting already done;
• new round of gorgeous buttons ordered using Christmas money so as not to hit my budget (http://www.love-craft.co.uk/buttons/coconut-buttons/enamelled-coconut-shell-buttons.html);
• friend in place to build my website;
• financial advice taken;

Still need to sort out website host, domain name etc - but again, have people ready and waiting to help. Just need to give them a call *note to self to be less antisocial!!*.

Also need to photograph the glass, and sort out my blurb. Plus set up a FB link, and write at least the first entry on the associated blog....

Hmmm, some way to go then!
