all looking positive for you Nora, and you're right to leave it till after the new year to contemplate your next move. You need to gather yourself together so you're ready to put your best foot forward.
when i go to my outlaws it's certainly like an episode of Eastenders including the east end location. One day there takes it out of me let alone the fact that we generally have to go for a couple of days otherwise 'mother-enders' has a right go.0 -

All looking lovely, and loving the ' the only pressure is from myself' bit. That can easily be changed
Oooo, thought it was your tip Dot! :T:T but I'll be honest and admit I was a little too lazy last night to trek back through the pages to find out - sorry!
Of course, now I've become a total Scrooge about contacting people via mobile...and no more texting marathons over stupid things either....it's becoming lovely and quiet...:D0 -

Thanks LT. I can't even imagine your pain...and over a couple of days!! Do you manage this without alcohol or drugs?? Puts my meltdown into perspective!:D

ummmm - we don't go very often? i take knitting so i can tune them out, i'm not often included in the conversations as they're not in a language that i understand. I also try and plan reasons for us to go out as much as possible.0

Abernoon 'verbse *aichoo!*
Been fighting off a cough and cold for a few days now, but finally gave in yesterday...and the cold germs have bred overnight!
Actually feel fine - just tickly throat and hacking cough (probably not helped by now living with a heavy smoker), and lots and lots of snot...which thanks to this morning's breakfast of lemsip, is now running out of my nose rather than bunging it up.
*large bump as MSE-verse takes a step back, and dons a face mask* Yep - that's sensible.
Venturing out for fresh air in a moment, and cough medicine!
Mum refusing to take any money for me staying here for a few weeks...did point out that she raised me to pay my way rather than sponge off people...this did not go down too well...
[Note to all kids - do not repeat your parents' teachings back at them....you will not be thanked!].
So we've agreed I'm allowed to do the shopping, and I'll take over the housework and cooking....all of which she really dislikes. Suits me fine. Despite being a mad-eyed career woman all of my adult life, it turns out that I'm really far more inclined towards a domestic life - and I love cleaning other people's houses (no idea why!), plus it's fun to cook when you're cooking for more than just yourself. Tonight we're having Italian...(chased, in my case, by cough medicine)...pass the garlic!
One the MSE front, I've pretty much given up on getting any more NSDs this month - but I'm proud to have managed the 11 I did. Next month I'm going to try again for 15 though - it really should be achieveable!
Righto, fresh air is calling - have a lovely afternoon all.

Actually, the smoker is probably better off as they fumigate their lungs every half hour...Knitting_Nora wrote: »and lots and lots of snot...which thanks to this morning's breakfast of lemsip, is now running out of my nose rather than bunging it up.
