Just wanted to send you a hug (I would use the smilie but it just looks wrong!)
You don't worry about that! Just use the smilie - and for added hilarity hover your mouse over it...I like the beach in winter too - probably because there are few tourists clogging the lanes. I know they bring revenue into the area but they do leave their manners and common sense behind sometimes:o - sorry will step off soap box!
Don't assume they had manners and common sense to bring. The Greater-Spotted Chav is not going to turn into a pillar of society just because they are on the beach..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Never tried it - hmmm, these are the challenges I'll be facing once my shop opens *sits down to consider logistics of posting glass up and down the country*
To be honest, I don't think that particular vase would do very well being posted - but it's enormously easy to make and I can show you how to make one of your own from a vase you already have...I may even have more red glass beads (that's what the blobs are). I once did one in silver with teal beads which also looked really effective. Shout if that sounds like a plan...

Glass posts well double boxed with foam noodles and bubble wrap with an added layer of foam noodles between boxes, faling that bean bag beans are also good for packaging. Send it via courier rather than Royal Mail, but don't use Hermes because they seem incapable of shipping anything without playing football with it first. Parcel insurance doesn't cover the contents because they're fragile but you can claim for late or delayed shipping if they take an eternity to arrive.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Lol - my poor, long suffering (if you take her word for it) MIL has been the first to get hit by my MSE ways this Christmas.
I've got her a jumper from ebay (brand new with tags and is gorgeous) for £5.50, a reed diffuser thingy (she loves this kind of thing) from Body Shop which, thanks to an offer, ended up free! and a box of chocolates from M&S which were BOGOF at £2.99.
So MIL's prezzie cost the grand total of £7.00 and is worth about £45 :TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
