Sounds like an entirely justified spend that one Nora! Anything you want for that long and can then get at an utterly bargainous price is entirely allowed in my book.

Agree with ZTD though, get skipping, scare some of the calories away from your dinner ;)

Hellooooooo! How did it go, did you have fun, what was the hotel like? how did you enjoy the show? *runs off to get the interrogation torch*

And yes, I'd noticed how fast the thread moves....it's really the only thing linked to me that does you know! ;)

lol i'm sure your skipping last night was moderately speedy!
well done on getting the bargain dress, we do want piccies you know!
  • Well done on your new dress Nora, you must be so happy.

As I said yesterday I still have a jumper I need to sew for my BF and I was really lucky as my friends mum has offered to look at it for me and get it finished.

I am so pleased as it took me ages to knit and it does look nice so would be his main Christmas pressie.

Also I started a little helmet for my GS last night, it was funny when one of my colleagues saw me knitting at lunchtime and did a double take !!!

The weather here extremely foggy and dank tonight, glad to be in the warm.

    Hope all are well

Let's be honest, there is only so much you can ebay before you start scraping the bottom of the proverbial....I'm nearing that point - a couple of dresses, some shoes and some bags to go, and then I'm done...at least until I fall out of love with something else (or the postman leaves his bike too close to my front door - I once knew a family who literally sold the postie's abandoned bike!).

So I need to be considering other ways to up my income - and one of the obvious ways is to sell my craft stuff. I've mentioned before that I've decided to set up an online shop - my project for Jan and Feb (little busy right now moving house, changing life and starting over...). But in the meantime, I'm helping a friend out at an event she's organised and wanted some craft stalls at.

I'm concentrating on the glass work here - partly because I want to move old stock, and partly because price-wise there's a lot more variety here which is more fitting for the event (part coffee afternoon, part craft afternoon). The little felt characters in the basket aren't mine - I've offered a corner of the table to a friend's niece as I think her work will sell really well in the right environment.

Anyway, here's a pic - would this stall capture your interest?
