That is just the coolest name ever! Have wandered across with my banana milkshake (quicker than a cuppa this morning - besides, so much safer to avoid boiling water until your eyes have opened properly) and subscribed.
Look at you all achievementy (is too a word) this early on a Sunday!0 -
Hi Nora
Well I have just spent the last past hour or so reading your diary from the start and just wanted to say I find it very inspiring.
I hope you wont mind that I have subscribed to your thread, the banter and advise on here is great.
I love knitting and normally tend to do babies clothes, I have knitted a jumper for my DB which I finished last year, just havent got round to sewing it yet:eek:. In my defense its because I keep trying to see how to do flat stitch or mattress stitch for the raglan sleeves. (Have looked on you tube but it never comes out right when I do it:(.
My daughter had my grandson earlier this year so think I will knit him a hat and gloves (just in case we have another bad winter)
Having watched the Remembrance day service from the Cenotaph I am just going out to meet my friend and buy to Christmas pressies for one of my friends little boys. She moved away last year and is coming down for a visit a week on Thursday so want to get it sorted before she arrives.
Hope you all have a good day.

I have lots of knitting intentions for the coming year, thanks to those massive needles! - Don't have them yet like! Better make I'm not paving my road to hell with them.Pay off as much as you can in 2012 challenge No. 64: 328.75/2,5000 -
Knitting aside, I may just have bought myself a very lovely dress from a particular boutique on ebay *whistles innocently*. Normally retail around the £120 mark, but between a paypal voucher and some ebay sales today, it cost me less than £20....
I've only wanted one of these dresses for about four years.....am giving myself permission to be smug for the remainder of the evening.

*remembers how much she ate for dinner*

Get back up - the more calories you burn off skipping round the house, the less impact dinner will have..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
