i wish my hubby would make me some needles like that, but i guess i'll have to be satisfied with a case of 'short' needles from the charity shop. He obviously picked up on my coversation (NOT) about my only using Long needles and sending him back to the shop where he'd previously bought me a short pair from to get them swapped. (and it was all done in the same day so i'm starting to worry about his memory).
galaxy have just released an orange shortcake chocolate bar which lasted from saturday evening till last night before i sucumbed, it was wonderful!

He's just got back from work...shall I send him off to the £-shop in the morning for a job lot of broom-handles and Galaxy choc? He could make such a lot of ladies very happy :D:D:D

it's definitely a medical need for me when it comes to chocolate! lol
Lassy i think you're hubby has found his niche market we'll all be begging him for his skills lol

Mr LT came home via Mr M's (without some of the lovely chocolate :( ) but will 3 x cooked whole chickens for 99p each! mushrooms for 15p ish and some other bargains this is the few times that i like the fact that he sometimes has to work until 8pm.
  • *dreams of galaxy chocolate on the NHS*

Whole cooked chickens that cheap? Amazing. Not being the best cook of meat, I don't tend to look at that sort of thing - but oh, the smell as you walk past those ovens....yum!
  • Materialism! That was the word! Thanks Dot (and good morning right back atcha).

I was all busy epiphanising (is too a word) yesterday, and I couldn't think of the proper term! :rotfl:
:) It's a constant theme for me, epiphany after epiphany, after epiphany....

  • :hello: Morning Dot (and 'amen' to the constant theme!).
  • Morning! Hope you have an awesome day...whatever it brings epiphanies or not...you certainly have the bull by the horns.

I wonder if you will spend the day researching the best Galaxy offers?

See you much more at the weekend.

  • Had a bit of a day yesterday - nothing serious, or that I'm going to go into here, but if I said "work= :wall:" I'm pretty sure that most of you can sympathise.

I spent lots of yesterday having to find myself things to do which would take my mind off of the credit cards in the vase (why, where do you keep yours? ;) ) and my innate need to spend in order to feel better.

But with inspiration and support from the MSE-verse (morning!) a wander in the pouring rain with a good friend and her very daft dogs, followed by stew from the freezer *bows to Shower of Roses for her inspiring cooking tales* with fresh dumplings, a warm bath and cozy pjs, I managed my first truly MSE NSD yesterday. I even drove straight by the chippy (ahhhh, chippity chips).

And today I feel wonderful for it!

It doesn't even matter to me that today is most certainly not a NSD - hair cut and colour in an hour...last of the qualified professional ones.... and I thought I might 'treat' myself to a loaf of bread.

Today I've decided to gather the rest of the clothes I want to ebay - give everything an iron and have it ready for listing. I'm also going to speak nicely to ebay about raising my seller's allowance....wish me luck. Oh, and anyone thinking about selling on ebay - free listing this weekend on things with a starting price of £1.

But I think I'll start by getting dressed - don't think the hairdresser would be too impressed with my pjs! :rotfl:

    Have a good 'un!
