Sainsburys toy sale (merged)

Got to Wakefield just after 7am, a few people there with trollies full and a few empty shelves but there was still plenty of things left for both boys and girls and it was all very polite and civilised. Some of the toys like Baby Born and her sledge and the large playmobil dinosaur set seemed to be getting completely ignored but I think its because of the layout of the store. People were just looking in the main toy aisles and not in other places like the main grocery part of the store which is where some of the toys have also been placed!!!!! Got the bulk of DD2's toys for christmas for the grand sum of £92, she's into Barbie and Disney Princess at the minute and did my grocery shop as well. Very happy but will pop back later to see if some more disney princess things have been put out as really wanted a carriage and didn't get one.

Any chance of some prices from the people that have been to see if it's worth going through. Not going to bother if things are only a pound or two less than can be had elsewhere. Ta.

I saved about £15 compared to buying from Amazon, which is cheaper than most places

Milton Keynes was the busiest Ive seen it, easily 3 times the amount of people there as last year but everybody very friendly tbh. 2 women with 3 trolleys piled up asking each other to check what each thing was on ebay for but then you always get some selfish idiots eh???

Anyway, I got everything i went for, Charm school barbie, furreal cat, celestia, playmobil case, singamajigs, kitty house, vtech laptop, rapunzal, stocking fillers. Forgot the sains own styling head! Doh! Never mind. Spent £121 and very pleased, xmas is finished! Although gutted no kidizooms this year for DD1 birthday. Boooo xxx

Was here last year and arrived at 7.10 - all the shelves were empty, Ariived at the car park and couldn't believe how many people were already here again, arrived just before 7 today as the doors were opening.., absolute mayhem - women climbing over people, taking items from other peoples baskets, Some bloke had a walking frame, poor fella didn't stand a chance - lucky enough I was able to grab some lego 'Alien' & Ninja boxes, Halo items and playmobil.., glad its all over - managed to get out alive, cant see why people would want 10 boxes of the same Lego star wars boxes.

Mr Sainsbury take note - next time limited people to 1/2 items per customer -
