I went to Winchester Badger's farm at 7am and there were about 30 of us there. They had a well stocked isle and lots on the ends. I only really went for lego and spent £85 and got lots for that so I was pleased. Lots of things for my son/daughter and some for christmas presents. Even got a couple of pirate of the caribbean bits for my fiance! x0

people were talking bout fleabaying stuff....
one man did have £700 worth of stuff - staff said he was local nursery manager and as they have their shopping delivered weekly he was allowed to buy as much as he wanted.
(that was in thornhill store - loads left on the shelves, no barging, people being very friendly)Proud mum :T

Was in the line at 7am this morn with about 20 infront, was very civilised except someone used there kids as decoys to block the way in with a big trolley (very clever) so being a polite and curtious individual by the time i squeezed past them with out trampling on them i missed the good stuff.
I got £185 of stuff mainly lego, nurf, sylvanian, aqua beads, cooking set, wooden train set, airfix, zubber, slick wheels, card games and i can say they are ALL for my ds or friends.
Saw lots of Mickeys on sale and someone wanted star wars ewoks which mine still had some left.
Wasnt going to go after reading all the nightmare chav behaviours on here but actually glad i did. I took my own Mr T bags and another big bag and got told by staff at the till what a great idea and i replied it beat trolley bashing but wondered if i was going to get told off for suspected shop lifting :rotfl:
Thankyou to all that keep this thread updated.0 -
O.M.G - I cannot believe what I saw earlier today. Grown women climbing on top of each other to grab items and then another one shouting "that's mine" about a doll! You couldn't even get down the toy aisle for loaded out trollies. I wish I had videoed it and sent it off to Harry Hill as it was certainly comical!
Lego seemed really popular as shelves cleared within minutes although I did bag a Cookie Fur Real Pup which I then was slightly concerned that I might lose from my basket if I didn't keep my eye on it (as I was asked at least 10 times where I had got him from).
Not much left on the shelves at Basildon at 8am although I did see a large group hovering around by the stock room doors so I assume they were waiting to see what else was coming out.
Good Luck - if you are going out to brave the stores, body protection and climbing shoes recommended!
PS Didn't see any of the Mickey Mouses in Basildon but they had plenty of Windmills, Vtech laptops, Easels and Baby Born (for those who may be looking)0 -
Also at Middlesbrough, NO Sylvanian other than a couple of families. Very disappointing. Hopefully some pieces come online!0

I was so good all I bought was frustration, some bath toys and some moon dough for the kids stockings- spent a grand total of £12!!
I did put the sylvanian families windmill in my basket only to look at the box and see that no figures came with it and it was tiny when I looked inside. I never would have bought that at £25 let alone £50!!
I also had the pet shop in my trolly and put that back too only 2 pets came with it -another rip off!!
They didnt have anything my son likes like Dora and mickeymouse clubhouse, there were no mickeys, not much disney princess stuff (apart from dolls and we dont need anymore of those) They had loads of toys generally but none of it was what I wanted sadly.
A lot of people were changing their minds too as they left a lot of toys at the tills.
Think before you buy people! as its not really saving money if your just buying it as its cheap, not because your kids want it.0 -
