  • Sainsburys do have their half price sale ONLINE but just for a selected toy range, worth looking if you're not able to travel to your local store.:)
  • Well what a morning!!

Got up at the crack of dawn armed with my coffee in my to-go cup! Arrived at my local (Truro) store around 6.30, to be 3rd in the queue. About another 30 - 40 people were there and waiting by 7am.

went to kimberley this morning, was 1 other lady there and another one that was running - dont know why , was only us three there, got my daughter the things she wanted, few puzzles, peppa pig items, after went to sainsburys at arnold was appauling, couldnt get down as people were grabbing shoving shouting throwing toys all over. got a extra peppa pig grandads garage toy and peppa pig puzzles decided not to go down again as wasnt worth it, children crying as they were squashed, dont know why these people would put there children through it for a half price toy its really out of this world.

staff were saying castle boulveard is empty so if ur looking to go to any in nottingham area, would go to that one and avoid arnold.

    Xmas Saver!
definately agree with Sainsbury being overpriced to start with.

Bop it XT (got one of 3 at my store) was £13.49 at sainsbury, but is £17.99 at Amazon.
Zoobles nursery was £17.49 at sainsbury, which means they must have been selling it at £35, but I paid £20 at Smyths last week.

DId anyone get the hair dresser barbie set? How much was it? Ta.

And if anyone hasn't been yet, don't forget Yeo Valley Vanilla ice cream is 50p a tub.

I was there at 6am buying and there was a handfull of us, stayed there for an hour and then they opened the doors at 7am. Hundreds of people rushed in whilst I was leisurely paying and the SA said to me 'Isnt it good being staff?' I replied 'Im not staff!' and he looked horrified. Was the 6am opening for staff only?!!! If it was then oops and hehe! I got everything I wanted for £200 and am pretty pleased with that :)
    £20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**

Thats the kids sorted now.. he spent £133.
