Was at the Purley way store this morning just after 7 it was quite quiet with just a few people and some staff getting some toys managed to get some Lego and a rattle toy for my friends 6 month old baby0

Back from Chester, got loads of stuff. Charged twice for quite a few things do have to go back, never mind hey
spent £290 in half hr but all Christmas presents done for the kids in our family
Gutted that all of the toy story stuff was coming through as not found so they wouldn't, sell them - not happy about that0 -
West Hove Sainsburys was very civilised. I arrived as the doors were opening and walked straight in. Got £150 of stuff for my daughter and as party gifts. Did see the same couple as last year with more lego than any one family could want - ebayers me thinks - v annoying.
I feel very lucky not to have been in those stores with the queues.0 -
I think people should compare what they spent to Amazon prices before you say you saved as much as you spent!
I spent £23.97 (including £5 nectar vouchers), would have cost £45.55 on amazon, would have cost £57.94 full price from sainsburys0 -
Ooh White Rose store sale quite good, lots of dancing mickeys all over the store, lots of everything although Lego was going very fast. Got Lego, transformers, hot wheels (loads for boys this year), Peppa pig, fur real, baby toys, large tots, bob the builder, remote control cars, stlvanian families, fireman sam, etc, spent £78 but all done for birthdays and Xmas now yay!
Word of warning though, odd items weren't scanning at half price and one of the managers said there's nothing they can do about it. One of my items didn't scan at half price but luckily it did the second attempt. Was not happy about that, so keep an eye on the till display when paying.0 -
P.S. was mostly civilised too, most people letting others in, passing stuff and giving tips on location. Still the odd rude person but that's life eh?!Property buying/selling timeline - currently into week 21

Lego speculators are some of the biggest scumbags in the world. Aside from the usual Harry Potter / Star Wars, the Ninjago Fire Temple is one to look out for as it constantly holds its price of £70-90, though I doubt many Sainsbury's will stock it.0
