Can anybody tell me if there is any fisher price stuff? Bounce and spin zebra? Little people garage? Cookie shape sorter? Anything like that? Don't know whether to go or not are these things likely to be in the sale?

Asked OH and he's not seen anything in our locals, but been on Argos site and they have some Fisher Price stuff on offer (not sure what though but worth a look)

Our little local was a waste of time. Other half was going to go to the next larger store......but he's been called for work. So can't. I shall wait and hope that things get re-stocked. We've got a number of things for my girl anyway. Still a bit grumbly mind. Hate feeling like I've missed something lol.

And no I can't go myself because my monster has 'commitments' all day.

Rudeness and madness aplenty at Emersons Green branch at 6am. The first half a dozen people through the doors bagged all of the Star Wars lego and most of the other decent lego. Not sure what Star Wars things they had as there was virtually nothing left by the time I got to that section half an hour after the doors opened (that is how crowded it was as I headed for that bit first). Saw a few people with Mickey's in their trolleys but didn't seem to be any left on the shelves. Had to get back so DH could go to work as I'd left him with the kids, but I know they will be restocking the shelves with some things so I may just wander down to Filton branch later with the boys and let them choose one thing each to have now.

winnersh berkshire just some very courteous MSE mums all buying stuff for kids - all very civilised and nice atmosphere. It's not a big store toy aisle wise but they had dancing mickey, (eta is it just me or does dancing mickey still look over-priced and likely to be not played with even at half price???) plenty of sylvanian windmills etc and lots of lego (though one set £24.99 went through at full price and she said it wasn't in the sale??????), people were buying quite a lot of stuff but no one was going totally totally mad - though I did see one person with two trolleys.

Apparently Calcot was mayhem with one guy with a trolley wiping the shelves of lego.

Got a few bits and bobs (essentially meant kids I have to buy for got nicer stuff than they would have otherwise) so thanks for the tip of MSE'ers

    YAY!

Just back from a VERY productive morning.

Got everything on my list. Lovely and quiet, a lovely male SA welcomed me. Only me and another lady at my store when I arrived at 6.55, she had come for Sylvanian stuff.

    Here is what I got-
All the zhu zhu puppies and zhu zhu princess hamsters (12):D
    Zhu zhu puppy car
    Zhu zhu puppy carrier
    Two talking moshi monsters
15 packs of moshi monster blind packs
    2 club penguin toys
    6 packs of squinkies
    Sylvanian Labrador family
    Lego Harry Potter x2
Moshi Monster Starter Packs x 2

At the checkout the same male SA served me and we were saying what a great sale it is and then we realised that club penguin toys didn't have labels on so he said I'll just put them through for the same as a pack of squinkies is that ok? (penguins 4.99, squinkies 2.50) :T yes, thank you very much!!

Back in bed now with a cuppa, husband getting ready to go to work and the children are still fast asleep!!

    Spent £130, saved £129.
