Well back from store now - EMPTY!!! Got talking to another lady waiting outside, she heard from HUKD.

I got -

Barbie modern princess - £4.99
Barbie doll - £2.49
Nerf gun - £5.49
Nerf bullet things - £2.49
Styling Head (sainsburys own) -£3.99
Zhu Zhu puppy - £5.49

and, some Princess phones which were SEL £1.79, not half price SEL, there were only a couple of SEL with the red half mark sign. Yet they scanned at £1.79, spoke to SA and she said 'oh its not all toys' I said, 'It is advertised as ALL toys'She said 'no, its selected few' I told her instore was ALL toys, online was selected few! She wouldnt budge on it and strolled off to speak to someone, out of eyes view then came back and said, No, its not included in the offer. She went to take them off the self scan system but I sad to leave them as Im phoning up CS to have a moan, false advertising. They are cheap for what they are tho, maybe already reduced but I will see what they say!

Hope everyones managed to get what they want

Sent OH to Ashton store, he said there was only about 6 people waiting.... Really hope he comes back with Mickey Mouse.

Well, after confirming over-the-phone and in-person that my local wasn't opening early I got to the car park to find that they had.

Needless to say there were a lot of trolleys piled high with multiple popular toys destined for ebay, but from what I saw in the trolleys it was a pretty poor selection this year.

EDIT: This was at the Plymouth Marsh Mills branch, where all of the LEGO (the main thing I was sent for) had gone. To be fair, they still had other toys (e.g., Halo, Tigger, Nerf Guns, etc.), but I didn't wait around for more to be brought out (there were people just standing in the aisles doing that).

I don't even want any flipping toys but feel I'm missing out on the atmosphere if I don't get up and go. Shrewsbury store about 1/2 mile from me

we had loads of mickeys come in so i dont see why he wouldnt come bck with one.

Don't bother with Northampton sixfields unless you are local, they had some barbies, Francesco Lego car small amounts of the mice families things, nothing much only less than half an isle plus a small amount near the pharmacy sadly no scooby apart from the small goo pots.

Well told other half and he decided to go up to our local and take a look. He's not expecting much, but tbh he can't resist lol. However, knowing him he may decide to travel a bit further afield to the next one.
