Azana i must have seen you there. I don't suppose anyone knows if the fully loaded Finn McMissle is in this sale wondering if I should ask my sister to attempt Calcot later? Hope everyone gets what they want
I'm guessing you probably did - I was the one with the two little girls spending their pocket money on club penguin toys and saying "bargain"0 -
Was looking for baby Annabell in my local, but couldn't find it. Then went on Argos site and found it half price, along with other bits and bobs. If you're only after certain things look around first to avoid the mayhem.

very civilised in my local store, but thats because there was nothing worth buying, unless you wanted baby toys or oversized/priced remote control trucks and fire engines - all the games and puzzles had been removed from my local store and replaced with a very small selection, ie just elefun and gatorgolf
i think most people were buying for ebay as they just cleared the shelf of certain products - mainly moshi monsters and lego
one family was there with their kids going 'choose what you want for christmas' and the kids were saying 'i cant see anything' and the parents said 'its half price, choose something' - they left with some lego sets
i didnt buy anything

saw bounce and spin zebra (pink one) in the sale - not with the toys but in the baby aisle

Back from Braehead. Was there in time for opening and it was pretty busy. Got everything we wanted but there were the odd idiots who wanted to block all the stuff with trolleys.
Got 4 x lego alien conquest sets (all different) for ds1, 3 hero factory guys for ds1, squinkies and a fur real walking cat thing for dd and lots of cars diecasts for ds2. Used £50 of nectar points so only cost £29Kyle 03.04.04

Just got back from Kempston and Bedford. Kempston nice and civilised (first year i've been and found other people already there, lol!) I got some Moshi things, was glad to get the starter packs as they have 3 month memberships inside!
I also got Halo minifigures in blind packs £1 (the Halo "lego" style), beanie collectable erasers 50p, Nerf gun £4.95 and refill whistling darts £2.49.
Popped in to Bedford where it was much busier (still loads of sylvanian baby windmills) and got some Tech decks, the "lego" style doctor who tardis and figures in the blind bags . beware that some products were in the wrong place there was a 4 pack of tech deck skateboards with 96mm printed on the box and the label underneath said 96mm tech decks £2.49 so I picked one up, it went through at £6.49 (£12.99 originally) so check carefully, they gave me my money back no problem though.
Enjoy everyone and remember the last two years they have been refilling through the week.0
