[/SIZE] No nee to shout. The selection online is crap!
If mine were younger I'd buy the wooden train set and would look at the playmobile dino world and perhaps the hot wheels set. EDIT: and definitely the easel!
When I last bought hot wheels it was just as cheap to get it in the boots 342 on one of those days where they give away loads of points when you spend a certain amount. (I think they might be this week?)52% tight0 -
quite civilised at wigan today - loads of trolleys, but not much pushing and shoving. lego hoarders out in force tho.
managed to get lego truck with boat on, 2 creator sets, mechano set, cars frustration, operation, some ben 10 aliens, airfix red arrow (mega chuffed with that as was £3.50 and nearly paid £6 off amazon for it the other day!). also got step2 easel.
not as good as other years tho - last year i got lego firestation -- no big sets out at all this year. got there 8mins after store opened - some sections had already been raided!
didnt see any mickeys (didnt look too hard tho as my kids have outgrown them!)0 -
OH got back with everything we were after and looked slightly traumatised - apparently it was a bit of a rugby scrum! He got chatting to another bloke there who said someone had taken his entire trolley and he had had to start over - how rude is that?!!
Think we had it easy really as our little one is only 2 so we weren't after the really popular stuff.Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
Just back from Middlesbrough. not much there at all - less than last year when I went towards the end of the sale!
Got the Mickey Mouse but not much else.0 -
Such a shame that people buy it to sell on. Just want to say how sad that 1 man in preston got £600 of lego for his kids. Funny as the sales assistant remembered you doing exactly the same last year. I got what I wanted but he cleared the shelves of some of the packs. I really hope they re-stock for people wanting to buy Christmas presents0
