Hi I want to get into a fab black dress I have for Christmas. I'm just going to follow a healthy diet and up my exercise. I don't want to join a club as I have no spare cash at the minute but would love some support. I am going to weigh in in the morning and I have 8 weeks and 5 days until the event where I want to wear the dress is on. I need to lose about 25lbs to get into it. Quite a task but I am going to go for it.
Anyone fancy keeping me company?

Hi I do!
Not sure about 25lbs but any loss is a good loss.
I found keeping a food diary helped loads- for the first week or so I just kept a log and then after that planned meals- makes shopping easier and I can track calorie consumption.
I fell off that wagon a few weeks ago becasu of too much eating out and some time away.:oBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
:j welcome. I fell off it too. I had lost 50lbs but have managed to put 10lb back on and no way am I wanting to go down that route again so here I go. I wasn't really organised enough to start today so I have now bought supplies and will get going full throttle tomorrow. I weighed myself this morning. I'm going to use this as my food diary so I can look back and see where i did well and what went wrong in not so good weeks. I hope that makes sense.5 Year plan. Can I join in please? I'm so down about my weight lately, just lack motivation to do anything about it. Ideally I'd like to lose a couple of stone. I find I'm so busy with work/family that I put myself on the back burner. Until recently I was doing Body Combat 3-4 times a week, but it was a real nightmare fitting it in around full time work and keeping up with housework, etc. I keep telling myself I'm going to get up that half hour earlier in a morning to do the 30 day shred, but dragging myself out of my warm comfy bed is just too much.....haha!
I can't promise I'll be able to log on here everyday but I'll try and get on as much as I can.0 -
As long as no-one shouts at me for eating 2 slices of toast immediately after my tea- just because....:o
What a way to start!:pBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Haha! I've just scoffed a big piece of chocolate cake left over from my son's birthday. Not feeling too great today....Auntie Irma decided to play a surprise visit. Promise I'll start tomorrow :-)0

I think this will be fab- we're all as bad as each other.
i hope somone with some restraint and who can stay on the wagon more than 12 hours comes along soon!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
I think I have a medical condition actually......similar to Alzheimers.....I keep forgetting I'm on a diet :-D0

lol well I ate a triple mars bar too so I am just rubbish. Definitely tomorrow though as I am fed up eating. I'm back at work tomorrow so that should help. My DD has been puking all day so you'd think that would put me off. But nah, I actually said to her that if I was going to catch her bug I might as well stuff my face as I would puke it all up again !!! I mean what the h*ll :rotfl:5 Year plan.
