scubaangel wrote: »Bonsi, I hope that you sort yourself out one way or another with OH, they can be so incredibly stupid at times can't they, and I swear half of it comes from being too coddled by the army - mine is utterly convinced its normal to treat himself to a 'nice' steak two or three times a week, and at the moment is adamant that when we move we can afford to pay for a full removals service when he as yet hasn't managed to save a penny towards his half of the deposit and assorted other fees (meanwhile I have mine and about 50% extra sat in my savings account - of course if I end up paying it all I'll be keeping the deposit from the flat we're leaving!).
Thanks hun, I appreciate that. I reinforced the "find yourself somewhere else to live" and today came home to find he has done dishes, laundry and managed to fix my laptop! Okay so all the lappy needed was hoovered but he fixed it for me so that is something I don't have to buy now:D
Had a proper chat (sort of) when he came in from work. I don't understand how he can waste £600 in less than a week:eek::eek::eek:
But a couple of things were discussed and at the mo he is prepared to apologise to my mum and dad for his behaviour a couple of months ago which resulted in me and the girls walking out and going to my parents for a week:(. Although he is convinced that he is due an apology too from them :rotfl:like that's going to happen!!! Although I will ask them nicely to consider it for my sake and the sake of the children:cool:
(ps don't worry there was no violence ... just verbal s**te)

Bonsi re the books is it worth getting them listed on greenmetropolis as well as play? I know I generally find that amazon simply isnt worth the hassle because of the nightmare fee system.
Good luck getting the mags sold, I need to dig out some more rubbish to get listed but ended up doing overtime this evening instead of getting that organised. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

If you can't shift the magazines and just want rid of, take them to the local dr's or dentist or list them on freecycle. Are you on facebook? If so look for your local selling page and list them on there, i find i sell things far quicker on there and i get the price i want rather than a measly 99p from ebay!

Thanks huni, I appreciate that immensely:beer:
OH gave me £80 today which went straight to the housing benefit debt which has brought it down to just £100 left:j I won't be adjusting the value of my debts until I have proper statements from the DCA's on the three main debts ... but once this is paid off we are down to 3 debts only to pay off ... well just 3 joint ones :rotfl:
Have taken to tipping laptop up and slapping bottom of it to stop funny noise ... OH did "fix" it but it needs a blooming good hoover out :rotfl:
Well DD1 and DD2 had a great time and we don't need to buy sweets for a good while :rotfl:they came home with quite a haul! We made up 50 bags for local kids (all the cheapest sweets we could get) and every single bag went! Well 48 did (I kept 2 for mine!), then there was the pack of sweets each from my mum and a big bag of sweets each from one of the women that works in the office next to me! She is so sweet and always remembers the girls:A
Well am off out with my daddy tomorrow night ... as you can expect the apologies and talking didn't happen ... OH will not apologise unless my folks do and they point blank refuse to apologise to him ... no-one realises that it is me, DD1 and DD2 that are stuck in the middle ... FOH is being a proper a*se about it ... we had a proper argument last weekend and I am at my wits end ... he tries for a while and then goes back to the way things have been ... I then tell him to leave and leave now and then he starts to sort himself out :undecided not sure what to do ... I know I can do it alone as I coped fine when OH was in army and away all the time ... would have a proper tidy house ... but then again i'm that used to him being around I wonder if he would cope ... obviously something that needs a proper discussion but not at the moment ... too much on right now
well the letters etc didn't get done on the weekend so have to get them done this week but going to finish early on thursday to get the postal orders and get them posted off ... going to follow Gargrave's lead and post the bare bones of my letters to see if they can help anyone else on here!
But proper knacked after a full day's work ... OH being a p**ck about taking the kids out guising so I had to sort out costumes and make up and take them (once costumes etc were done he decided to tag along after doing nowt:mad:) so am off to bed ... nighty night all and happy Samhain!

Right I have no excuses ... before I go off to bed I have gone thru my hard drive and emailed myself the letters I need to print and post ... have also reminded myself (via email) to get a folder and file these things properly! Job for the weekend ... sort out filing system and put the rest in a box to take to work and shred ... then take home and chuck in compost bin! Well we all have to do our bit for the environment!!!!!
Off to dreamland where I will dream of getting the £££ to buy the house round the corner from my mum!!!!! Night night all xxxLBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Oh yeah, before I forget, I got a phone call from OH ... silly bu**er went and fell off a ladder today ... complaining "my leg hurts" so I told him if he didn't shut up and let me work that something else would be hurting by the end of the day:rotfl:LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Hee hee J glad you found me!:D:D:D:j
OH now has the opportunity for a car ... the guy was going to ask £500 for it but dropped down to £100 for OH. None of the costs are to come from me so I am a happy bunny and it means that OH can take all of his s**te out of my car and I can have a lovely clean and tidy car (once he cleans the car properly and gets rid of the irn bru stain on the drivers seat:o). Then it will only be me that uses MY car. He asked if I wanted on his insurance for his car. I was like NO thank you, I am not contributing to your motor in any way, shape or form!
Ok so I don't get the £100 to clear the housing benefit payments but I can live with that ... although I may still get some contributions towards it. OH reckons come March/April he will have another £200 a month coming in ... I've put the grabbers on it. It would mean 10 months and I would have enough saved to offer a very reduced F&F on one of our debts.
Am going to draft more letters tonight to the DCA's to get full statements of the debts. I want to know the amount of the actual debt and details of interest and charges (cos I won't be including them in F&F offers:p)
Will post the letters up in a wee while. They are getting posted today I hope.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
