Oh dear, at risk again :( sending you some dodgy hugs in the meantime :grouphug: lets hope you're not one of the ones to go :)

    Thanks for the hugs :D

Honestly, I'd rather go than stay as I've been here for ten years now and think it's time for a change. I'm looking into training and college courses as well as jobs, so I'm trying to be very positive about the whole thing!

That's a great way of looking at it, well done you! :)

  • Ohhhh Fresian - sorry to hear that but good to keep a positive spin on things.

I was made redundant many years ago and at the time it was horrendous - but - it was a dead end job I'd just stayed in & it did give me the kick up the butt to find something better (but it was easier in those days).

Keep everything crossed that, if it does happen, you find a new job quickly and then ...... I have just 2 words to say ..... Ikea and kitchen ;)
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

    Morning :)

Thanks for all the kind wishes, it really means a lot. You're all very kind :D I think I'm in a better place emotionally and financially (well, I'm as skint as ever but I'm a better budgeteer!) than I was the last time this happened. I'll keep you all updated on any progress. This is the last thing on my mind today though as I only have eight more hours to suffer through at work then I'm on holiday for a week :j :j

I'm very excited as although I amn't going away we're going to be hopefully heading up to the Highland Wildlife Park to see the polar bears (courtesy of Tesco vouchers) and I'm meeting Souk for lunch too :D I'm also going to a full day craft workshop which should be brilliant - I've seen some of the projects they've done on these before and they're amazing and different from what I would normally make so I'll learn loads too.

Amazon vouchers are mounting up nicely - I'm waiting for another one from SB and got a MySurvey one through last night so my balance is up to £12+. I should have ordered another one via SB before the next one is delivered and most of the people on the challenge thread are getting £15-£25 in vouchers per month so I have something achievable to aim for. I've already created a private wishlist of things I've seen that I think other people would like as Christmas/birthday gifts, so the plan is coming together nicely!!

I need to look at SB more I think - £15-£25 a month in vouchers is amazing!

    Have a good day :)

Good luck with SB, I have a plan to make as many as possible once I finish college for 3 months, my christmas fund is now over £100 and I am proud of myself for not dipping into it but I want it up to £300 by Christmas so need to double my efforts!!!

Have a lovely week off, I am off to Ibiza (but I am sure you have seen that on FB!). Lovely sun here I come!

Sorry to hear about the job situation F_F but at least you are better equiped than most to cope - all your debt busting antics will not have been in vain I'm sure.
  • F_F, am I right in thinking that you have a Kindle?

Also, is there a referral process for MySurveys?

I do have a Kindle and I love it :D I paid for all apart from £10 of it with surveys/SBs as well (Mr F paid the rest for me) and only buy books for it with survey/SB money.

If you PM me your email address/name I'll send you a referral through. If you sign up I get 100 points - you need 550 for a £5 Amazon voucher but every little helps :rotfl:
