No sign of the Amazon voucher from Nectar as yet and my Nectar points are now sitting at a measly 89!

I've cleared out my survey box at My Survey and am 200 points away from my next voucher. They normally stack up quickly, I just keep leaving them for too long and being disqualified! I'm going to resolve to do them all on the same day next week and see if that helps :)

Today I went to Sainsbugs and did a massive Second Purse shop to take advantage of a £6 off £40 spend tillspit. I've bought things I would use anyway, and will buy them back from the SP on payday for a small but reasonable profit :money:

Nowt else to report really, it's been a dull day in Fresian Towers, but I'm going to go and tidy out the craftroom and see if I can find my crafting mojo while I'm there ;)

We did the same at Mr Ts this weekend - we had a £6 off £40 shop so stocked up on some things!

    Have a good day :)

  • I was looking at the reward site you mentioned.... did the rainforest used to be double points or something? I have to say, not overly impressed with that particular reward scheme...

Did you find your crafting mojo? I'm thinking of a theme for Mr S's birthday card, if I come up with one I shall let you know. I may have to m00npig it though :(

ETA: you make gift card holders too don't you?

My crafting mojo has more or less returned, although I've not had a lot of time/energy to do any recently. I did some kickass colouring yesterday, so will have to put that image on a card soon. If you want me to make something for Mr S then just give me a theme and let me know - I have just acquired a superhero image ;)

I haven't made a giftcard holder, but there are tutorials on the net so I could have a bash at one. I do like a challenge!

  • I've ordered him an experience at the zoo, so need to see what turns up for it but I think having it in one of your cards/gift holders would look way better than a print out :)

Will see what I have in my stash that's zoo-ish and be in touch :D

Payday tomorrow (thank all the gods for that!) and I still have (pennies) in my purses and owe £166.58 on the overdraft which isn't bad going really. I'd like to get that under £100 by next month's payday and get some money put aside in savings too. I don't have a massive amount planned this month, but on next month's payday I go to Manchester for Pearl Jam (WOOOOOO!) and we've got a wedding to go to as well which is going to cost money in terms of travel (Bah...) and a pair of shoes to wear. Thankfully a friend is letting me borrow a stunning dress from Coast :)

I need to do some budgeteering...!

    Morning all,

    It's Payday :D:D:D

    Money

    PAD/Spends - £120
    Entertainment - £46.39
    Cat fund - £110
    Car fund - £200
    Christmas/birthdays - £33.13
    Savings - £55
Overdrawn by - £176.48 My maths was wrong before when I said I was overdrawn by slightly less :o

I have a massive shopping list as I need to get lots of food in to the house, so I'm going to the supermarket after work and will see how I get on. A lot of the things on the list I'm going to buy from my second purse, so I'm hoping I can get that back up to £50 today and pay the excess to the third purse ;)

Funds are still quite tight at the moment as I have quite a lot of things planned this month - I'm out for lunch on Saturday (already paid with a voucher) and dinner on Tuesday. I am also going to a craft workshop (already paid) but it's in Perth so need to make sure I have lots of petrol money put aside!

I do have a lot of things to find money for this month as well - I need to buy a new tap for the kitchen (bah, hate spending money on household things!), shoes for the wedding I'm going to and I'll need to get my hair cut before I go. That could easily wipe out all the money in my PAD account unless I'm savvy about it. Lots of budgeteering to be done ;)

SF - no pics of the Coast dress as I don't have it just now (will be getting it from my friend before the wedding) and it's a couple of years old. Will almost certainly be putting pictures on FB though so if you do FB let me know and I'll add you :D

    Morning all :)

I'm having a lazy Sunday as Flylady means that the house is in a reasonable state :D I'm heading up to the post office shortly to post some FB sales, and will check out the car boot sale beside said post office while I'm there.

Surveys are ticking along nicely and I'm nearly halfway to another voucher with SB and only 100 points away with My Survey. There's £10 in my Amazon account at the moment and I'm hoping to add at least £5 per month to it from now until Christmas.

It's all quiet here, but the MSE stuff is working for now. Just need to be good ;)
