Evening all
I've been sadly absent from the forums as the Flylady thread has really been inspiring me to spend (a little) less time online and get the house in order. It's looking so shiny now!
It's been quite a spendy weekend. I went to a posh undies shop and had a proper fitting done for the first time. I spent over £100 there and then another £100 online  It's a lot of money to spend, but it's something I really needed to do since losing all that weight. We were also a little spendy yesterday as we went to the Toon for the football. We didn't win, which was a bit of a bummer but not unexpected, but we had a lovely roadtrip regardless. It's now a long 11 days until payday and I'm going to have to get a lot of NSDs in as things as looking very tight. I do have an order to do for two cards, so I'm going to get them done tomorrow night and that will be another £6 in the coffers
Today has been relaxing and productive all at the same time. I did my Flylady list for today (which is a small one thanks to it being a bank holiday!) I went and filled the car up which used all but a tenner of my giftcard balance at Sainsbugs - and I shouldn't need to fill the car again until payday. The rest of the balance on the card I used to buy a coolbag for my lunches that I take to work as my office is warm and the fridge is minging so I don't bring in yoghurts/cheese anymore. Now I canI've done my mealplan for the week and have bought most of the food I'm going to need (apart from two carrots for tomorrow) so the rest of the week should be nice and frugal. Most of tonight has been spent on t'internet or reading my Kindle so my batteries are well and truly recharged!
Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend

I agree with taxi, having a clean and tidy house does wonders for the soul!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

not much use now, but for future undies purchasing it might be worth researching factory shops - we have one about 45 minutes away (only found it Friday) & I bought 2 bras for £10 less than normal retail price.....I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0

Pennies:
PAD/Spends - £17
Entertainment - £3.46
Cat fund - £70
Christmas/birthday - £0
Car fund - £109.89
Savings - £280 although...
Credit card balance - £241.74
Outstanding overdraft - £191.91
Groceries - £22.47
Second purse - £43.31
On the plus side, it's only a week until payday (thank all the gods for that...!) and I've put in a claim for dental treatment I've already paid for so am waiting for a payment of £32 roughly. I need to make some extra cash though as I'm going to have to buy a new pair of trainers imminently as mine have developed a squeak and are no longer watertight. I'm going to have to look into Ebay, which I'm wary of at the moment due to the increase in postal charges. I am also going to be looking at the books/games/DVDs we have in the house and being ruthless with them - Music Magpie or similar will be in my future soon!
I've got £5 in my Amazon account and have just redeemed Nectar points for another £10 voucher. I'm quite annoyed that they've increased the amount you have to redeem to £10 though, you used to be able to do £2.50I think it's going to be time to get back into surveys to try and make some more Amazon vouchers and hopefully use these for birthdays/Christmas. It seems early to be considering the C-word but it'll come quicker than I know so I might as well start now. I'm also going to be starting on my Christmas cards soon to try and make myself feel more organised!
